I agree with this. No doubt he was popular with the first team players. He probably though didn't have time for the "less important" people at the football club. It's probably the same as anywhere, some liked him some didnt. Plenty of hints that a few weren't keen on him.

People forgetting how awful pardew made Jonas at football. Nah. Pardew wasn't to blame for this one. I personally think Pardew has quite a lot to do with his decline, tbh. How come? His delivery/end product was always pretty awful, his biggest asset was carrying the ball and relieving pressure. It was clear by the end his legs went so he was literally useless.
