  1. The Mclean and Sess efforts have been tremendous.

    Pardew Out?

Ah right, took it as 'let him have the reat of the season to see how we do' type of thing. But yeah, I agree, even at 40% is mental. That might change after the Wigan game mind.

    Pardew Out?

I guess 'give him till the end of the season' is effectivley no too, so its more like 40% I suppose.
  5. We didnt play well. We were more dolid than we have been, but we didnt play well.

    Pardew Out?

As if he's going anywhere man. Stop wasting your time even thinking about it.
  7. Defender much better (Colo influence) and we've been a lot more solid. I think we seen a little confidence creeping into us near the end there. I think the longer it goes, the more we may fancy it. Fucking come on. Away fans have sounded incredible by the way.
  8. Was interested to put this 'Europe is hurting us' theory to the test and just see how some past winners had fared domestically. Obviously this isnt an exact Science and it doesnt really prove anything but was a worth a look. 11/12- A. Madrid Winners, Finished 5th in Domestic 10/11 - Porto Winners, 1st Domestic 09/10 - Athletico Winners, 9th Domestic 08/09 - Shakhtar Winners, 2nd Domestic 07/08 - Zenit Winners, 5th Domestic 06/07 - Seville, 5th Domestic

  11. Crap first season!? Dont watch Newcastle much then I take it?
  12. Ian, I tend to agree with loads of your posts but that was shocking man. We barley stung two passes together. Two centre midfielders have been poor. We've been giving away scrappy free kicks. We've had two shots? Dreadful.

Aye Parky, you're having a mare. Not to mention the fact it was 5 years ago.

Wey, It seems as though the two managers didnt fancy Tevez (cant actually find anything online about pards dropping him yet) but doesnt it tell you more about Tevez at the time? West Ham striker Carlos Tevez insists the only surprise in the sacking of Alan Pardew was that it did not come sooner. The Argentina international joined the Hammers along with compatriot Javier Mascherano in a shock deal just before the closure of the summer transfer window, but has struggled to make an impact. Pardew was dismissed as West Ham manager last week, with Alan Curbishley swiftly appointed as his successor, and Tevez insisted things had not been "going right" for some time. Tevez told the News of the World: "I was surprised to see how long Pardew held on to the job in the end. In Argentina or Brazil he would have been out long ago. It was clear the team did not react as he wanted -- it wasn't going right." He added: "I was never given the chances I thought I would be given and I was told to play out of position against my will. "I had to sacrifice myself for the team which I don't think helped. I was playing in ways I did not understand well and I lost a lot from my own game. It didn't fit where he put me, but I wanted to help." Tevez is yet to score a competitive goal for the Hammers, but is eager to put that right.
