That doesn't even begin to describe what a moronic statement that was.
  2. during the match yesterday, all i could think about is where would be if it didnt all go wrong last season.....
  3. aye she's a proper stinker like! no place for her in the game.
  4. kick her in the fanny.
  5. really? i remember watching him the full game against West Brom and he never wanted the ball. Constantly pointing to their box as if to play the long ball. Made a great start to the season, full of life. But seems to have dwindled for me.
  6. whats the problem I have very little to disagree with.
  7. dont blame CH for starting the same team. Lovely will come off the bench and terrify them like he did friday...... hopefully.
  8. getting a tad tedious all these Ronaldo quips.
  9. You need to keep a little context, good result, but if you listen to Dave Jones comments you will see they were down to the bare bones of their squad, Mcphail is just recovering from cancer treatment. Cardiff are always a funny side because they have a small squad and rely on accademy players at times, still good win, your big squad will pay dividends during this hectic period. Bugger off man. You didn't even see the game so how can you say "keep a little context"? That was the best performance I have seen from Newcastle for over 2 years man. We have been playing like s**** for so long, surely we can celebrate a fabulous team performance. I don't know about anyone else but before the game I was expecting us to have a hard time against Cardiff. And as for saying Cardiff are down to the bare bones, we had Enrique, Steven Taylor and Colocinni out ffs. We were immense tonight and the game and atmosphere was f***ing class. I would suggest a few people posting on here did'nt see the game, as I said good result for you, but as I said keep it in context, Cardiff have a very decent first twelve players but they are very thin after that, thats why they always have great results one week and bomb out the next, been doing the same thing for the last four seasons or so. i wonder why a west brom fan is on a newcastle forum telling us to keep perspective. i would concentrate on making sure your team secures 2nd place rather than worring about us.
  10. going to have to explain that fan comment please.
  11. Barton was dogshit and hardly contributed before he even got injured anyway, I dont even see him as the answer to our problems. Just a fitter, non-goal scoring less defensive version of Nolan and Smith combined, he can be creative and could quite easily be this leagues best midfielder by a mile if he wanted to tho. So he's not good but he is good, I see what you mean. , His form suggested nothing promising before he was injured anyway, not the player we thought hed be in this division before it started, but will add something new when he returns if played in the centre in comparision to our usual Smith/Nolan partnership. he was played out right before he got injured. its the exact same situation with Guthrie. They arent right midfielders.

  13. credit where credit is due, he is backing his manager clearly. clearly it is to make sure we go back up, whatever his reasons for doing so, im not overally bothered as long as we get there. I agree, it's just some people seem to be thinking of Ashley in a slightly positive light. so what? He doesn't deserve to be thought of like that. if he continues to do the correct things, then credit has to be given.

  16. im wondering wether he is starting to get twitchy about our chances of going up and knows he needs to spend to make sure it happens. Here's hoping.
