Same - I love how distinct our stadium is. Agree about on top of the pitch thing too - really don’t like at Arsenal and Spurs how far but low you feel as the rows go back.

I totally get why people would find such an extension underwhelming but I also don’t think 8k extra seats is as insignificant as people are making out.

For context the Emirates, Anfield, London and Tottenham stadiums are all 60 704 - 62 850.

The 2-2 was my first away derby, at 10 years old. Yeah credit to them they made it fierce and electric, remember deafening whistling and boos. I absolutely loved it. Experiencing that meant winning there under Dabizas was probably my top moment to this day. Definitely a good example of how it can be done in a modern ground.

There's some weird Paraguayans in the nice NUFC farewell post who seem to be insulted he's not been playing much and has now left. While he seems to be leaving on good terms all round. Seem to think he's owed a place in the team because he helped us get to CL.

The match has become the main way I see my dad. We don’t (can’t) sit together anymore, but I meet him and his mates in a pub before and/or after. On an evening game we’ll often go for dinner before.

I’ve been abroad where you can order at your seat and there’s people talking to servers and passing pints across you when you’re trying to watch the match. I complain about people leaving at HT early for pints but I prefer that to what they have. Prob my ideal would be sell them pre-match but stop when the game starts. Pints ranking: Scotland (none) England (concourse only) Europe (pints allowed at seat or brought to seat)

I think that’d be worse, there’d be people streaming in and out getting pints all match.

Would like them to scrap pints at the stadium tbh. Maybe fewer people would leave early at HT. Can’t get pints at Scotland home games and don’t think it’s missed at all.

Yeah I don’t remember the particular match I first heard it, I think I’d have said away at Old Trafford - but I also remember it as it being a response to ManU (and maybe Leeds?) doing the same United chant.
