He maybe needs to get us to 40/45 points and then play some of the younger players like Neave, Shahar, Park etc to try and blood them in this season. Park can't be worse than Elanga and Murphy and Neave can't be worse than Wissa/Woltemade. That way if we write off the league we are actually giving some players experience rather than persist with utter shit performances

Likely only sign 3 or 4 main players and have to try and get some younger, cheaper players from continent or blood some of our own before end of season. We also can't be fucking about and need deals wrapped up before end of season not some stupid transfer summit, watch all these players and make bids far to late. We could have bought better fit for the team than Elanga, Woltemade and Wissa for less than the 160m we paid for those. Those 3 just haven't done anywhere near enough and aren't aggressive enough. Wilson used to cause havoc because he was a menace, Isak because his pace and movement and Gordon and Barnes are capable of that if have right players around them. Need to dump Pope, Trippier and Murphy as a minimum and consider selling Willock/Joelinton as well. I love big Joe but we need to evolve the team. Core players like Hall, Thiaw, Tonali, Bruno, Miley, Gordon and Barnes need to stay and Ramsey as he will fit into a better team. The rest should have for sale signs attached. Those core players have the quality, although some consistency issues, the rest just aren't game changers in any way

It's a stupid rule these days anyway, think was so that smaller teams etc don't lose fans if big matches on TV at 3pm but a lot of people have alternative streams and watch matches anyway so why not take advantage of that at a reasonable price. If say 10-15 a month a lot would pay it to watch their team. I always said let people subscribe to 1 team and then maybe a different package for other televised games at 5.30 etc. At least they then have additional revenue stream and a lot would stop the alternative streaming for games.

Always thought it was imposed by Football league and Premier league had to follow that.

We have had a go at them but defensively just need to be aware, love the intensity and being brave but don't be naive

Think we would be best being tight and compact and not pressing them too high too often as likely to get cut through like what happened last few games. Use our pace on the counter and hope for the best but avoid humiliating loss

Yeah and we had a xg of 5.56, we rinsed them first half due to our positions and pace. We did to Villa and Spurs as well tbf, we handled ourselves much better last 3 games than any other away games this season and deserved our wins.
