Because our club do not communicate it leads to all sorts of speculation. Would save them a load of hassle if they just told the truth
  2. The quality is there in parts, the balance is nowhere near. You can have 11 world class players but if there is no balance it's shit. We have no balance on wings at all. Critical area for me. Ben Arfa likes to drift inside, Jonas is just Shit, Marv is not a winger.
  3. Van Wolfscock, Hooper and Bony probably would have
  4. ? - what Barton calls him
  5. Why the fuck would we loan him
  6. Never realised Kelvin Henry had gone to QPR, very awkward if Barton stays
  7. Hhmm, I think he looks very average when he plays that position for us. Sits far too deep and does not dictate play at all. He looked much better for us when he was pushed further up and was roaming behind Ba, Cisse and Ben Arfa a couple of season's ago. I hate seeing him so deep for us as he brings absolutely nothing from that position. Agreed he was great there but I don't think such a slow, with a lack of skill or quick feet can sustain in that position unless we play counter-attacking football. I don't think he should be the furthest CM back but fairly deep yes. I like the balance of DM-Passer-B2B/AM midfield. The less running Cabaye is forced to do the better, so I think a fairly deep role should suit him with the ability to get forward a few times. Too deep and he does too much running. I think playing him Attacking Mid as more a linkup man would suit him, not so much the bursting on and taking on players but his passing is good enough to create in them areas. Maybe with Tiote and Sissokho in the centre mid roles. Also Cabaye would be in position to have long shots etc. When he is deep he is just ineffective as there are no passes to play and ends up side to side rather than diagonal through for runners.

Seriously man, can't we just get rid of him, he was always only League One standard yet has managed to play top flight all his career (Except the blip season). I just don't get it,how can every manager except for Keegan want to keep him. He offers nothing and is worse than Carlton Cole.
  9. draw your conclusion from the article http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/8837962/transfer-news-alan-pardew-hoping-to-keep-yohan-cabaye-at-newcastle no need to speak about him at all and no bids from anyone or approaches from any club just splutterings from reporters with nowt else to write about i.e Manure link He clearly wants an offer for him doesn't he - mental.
  10. Over a year ago really now. Although we were quite good in January, we f***ed up massively last summer and seem to be making same mistakes this summer. The summer when we got Cabaye and Ba was best for a long time. I would settle for selling a player or 2 if we can just get a winger and striker over the line, convinced if we can get a couple of dynamic players up there that it would transform us. Maybe we have to lose Cisse and Cabaye and use that money to bring in 4 players Winger, Striker, Striker, Centre Mid - more dynamic than Cabaye Don't think we would have the time to do that now, sounds stupid i know when we are in July but this club works so damn slow and that summer when we signed Cabaye and Ba a lot of it happened at the beginning. Agree we are running out of time fast. Logical solution would have been to dump Cabaye and Cisse for good fees (Prob 30 mil for the pair) and shake things up a little, bring in a couple of british players if we could or more direct attacking players. The club needed a good shake up following last season something that cunt down the road seems to be trying to do for them lot, may not work out for them but fair play. We just seem to be happy to retain all of the players that underachieved last season and aren't english. Need to be ruthless
  11. Think Norwich could have a decent season this year, seem to be doing some good business. Where the fuck were we with Redmond deal btw, ideal youngster for us. Worrying thing for us is that teams around us are keen to strengthen such as Scum, Villa, Swansea, Southampton, Norwich. You could say a few of them needed players more than us but we are shockingly unbalanced and missing good players in critical areas.

  13. I think he looks absolutely terrible when playing deep for us. Why does Pardew keep mentioning keeping him ffs just shut up, you don't have to keep saying it.
  14. Not happening, won't sign anyone and likely to lose a player or 2 (Wouldn't be surprised to see Cisse and Cabaye go with sub standard or no replacement) Can't believe how hard we find it to get players in, we are the most unprofessional team in the league and completely shit at what we do. I would have took quite a few players that have recently moved for reasonable fees. We don't seem to have a very geared up approach to transfers

    Loïc Remy

We clearly don't have any other scouts than Carr, wish we would expand and look at some other leagues to get players that don't have french nationality or speaking box ticked. I would like a variety of nationalities.

    Sunderland

Chances are most teams in the league will do better than us, doesn't make them any good. Predict the scum will finish around 13th this season, us in 16th unless we get some strikers in

Bored of this shit now, and this football club. They can all fuck off
  18. God is so gay, should get a life tbh
  19. Sinclair would be much better than what we have if can't get Remy for that left slot, reasonably direct I think.
  20. That team would concede goals galore, good going forward though. And score goals galore?

    Alan Pardew

We actually played 4-2-3-1. Jonas and Tiote played behind Cabaye. Really thought it looked more a 4-3-3 with Ba, Cisse and Ben Arfa up front the second half of that season. Looked better than this s*** that's for sure. It was exactly this. GT what you talking about son And we broke with pace and intent. Ok we got bummed all over at Fulham, Spurs and Wigan but better to watch than this shit. We caused havoc against some teams especially away from home.
  22. Think we still need a Tiote type in the centre of the 3, just behind two more attacking midfielders - Cabaye and Sissokho would be my choice I dont think we do, can you think of a good team in the top 5 or 6 who have a tackle as Pardew puts it. No but they have good tactical players, not sure we have players that are good tactically and disciplined which is why we need that type. May be worth a try but requires us to be a lot better at closing down off the ball
  23. True, in this formation we just look lost, very static and lose the ball easy. No passing or movement at all and very side to side or diagonal, looks garbage to watch
