If we play 4-4-2 we need a left midfielder, Marv and Jonas only options and both are shit out there. We appear to be more suited to full out 4-3-3 with Remy, Cisse,Ben Arfa as the front 3 and Sissokho, Tiote, Cabaye as midfield 3. We don't have the wingers required for 4-4-2

He did look loads better with Gouff and Remy on pitch, created loads of space for him to run into. I thought he played well all game tbh, we were awful as a team until the subs though

He just doesn't have us playing any sort of style at all unless Shit is classed as a style. I don't get it, he trains them everyday, they train together every day yet they look like the most uncoordinated bunch of footballers just thrown together. There is no organisation, no attacking intent, no movement or patterns of play, passing is shocking, we defend as individuals and hoof the ball to strikers that can't head the ball. On a plus we hit the target from a free kick.

I agree it has to happen, but players under performing in first team and still getting games / escaping criticism sends wrong message as you want young players to lookup to the first team players

Mind I hope if the likes of Gosling etc really don't show up he does start being ruthless. Also he has to do the same with first team. If (When) Jonas and Shola continue to be shit he needs to have the same mentality and ship out players that don't perform. I also expect him to ship himself out of the club for gross misconduct

They have sort of quietly gone about their incoming business with the whole Bale out saga in the headlines and have spread out the signings in a way where I didn't even notice how much money they had spent. Should never go back. He just did not work with Cisse and Pardew couldn't work it all out. If Cisse is staying we need someone that could compliment his skills which both remy n gomis probably could.
