We are looking to cope towards top of the league etc but we are thinking done well when bang average at best, it's not waves of attacks and look terrible when teams attack us

2 deeper and one in front as triangle would be far more effective for swarming opposition in middle, we simply shouldn't be cut through that easy.

It's still us not looking slow, ponderous and nothing like a top 6 team even. It's disjointed as fuck, full of mistakes and not the intensity we are used to. It's just not convincing football at all, fuck all creativity really and they are looking at a full back and defender. Our problems are midfield, ability to build attacks and hurt teams and formation. I know we need strength at back but I would be sorting mid and attack first as them being scared of us will make them less effective ploughing forward, we should be going into every game with teams worried about what we are going to do and not worrying about what teams do to us but we seem to be scared.

Again too much side to side to wings, not so much able to work it up the pitch. It doesn't work and 3 in middle doesn't work, relying on getting some sort of cross in and needs variety, movement and opening them up. Do feel need that switch to a 4231 to play better. Too slow, play quicker and shorter plays to move forward rather than slow and allowing them to regroup would be better. So dysfunctional the way we play

I think they are but we have been wank since the first game in most cases. None of it looks right, let's just hope we find something to not be as shit for rest of season.

There was only 3 teams playing a 433 this weekend, us, Arsenal and Burnley most other teams are playing a variation of 4231 or 3 at back, I think that's harming us as much as anything as we play a flat middle 3, 2 wide and makes us too rigid. Need to commit to just someone sitting in that hole between centre mid and centre forward to link up the play and cause more problems. I do see Howr modifies it to get Livramento, Hall and Bruno at times into that position but needs something else. Maybe Tonali and Bruno need to sit and Ramsey/Willock/Woltemade play in that hole once Wissa is back.

I think if it doesn't improve in next 3 or 4 games he has to go. Right now we look like a lower mid table team after spending a lot of money with no clear style, unable to attack teams, no intent to do anything and that lies with him as well as the players. He has the players he wanted and apart from Thiaw haven't been great or don't suit our style.

It just feels like we are scared to play our normal game against teams, see setup to more worry about opposition than to play own style. No confidence in our own ability, starting with Fulham we need to show them who we are.

Don't think that's fair to Hall, Bruno, Thiaw they actually tried.

And never mind the Europe, look at other teams having to cope with that. There was a few moments in the game where we had the ball and were just static up front, no dynamic movement to open them up just keeping width or standing around and easy to mark

He's allowed to be criticised, he talks about intensity is our identity, attacking football etc then we play like fucking cowards, no bite no fight should be our identity right now. It will change, he may leave and have faith we will build but he's picking these players, setting the tactics and not really evolving our play. It's garbage to watch, the lack of technical players or knowing how to open teams up after 4 years is pretty astounding.

So he probably needed to sign some technical players then to manage the ball, instead he bought Elanga who is fast but not aggressive or skilled with it. Sunderland spent less, built a new team, controlled it better, more technical than us plus more intensive.

Elanga is fucking terrible and tbf I thought he would be decent, worst right winger we have had. Gordon looks like he's lost something as well. We have some good players though and can't seem to evolve as a team, right now we are going backwards.

I think he's losing a lot, we don't look at it and nearly halfway through the season. Not like we are just shit against the best sides either, we haven't looked convincing in many games and have lost something and isn't just the striker it's whatever style we are trying to play, just not working and he's not changing it.

We can't counter though, with any of them, we have barely done it well all season. It's been tragic and not sure what team we are trying to be

He's spent a fucking fortune on whatever kind of player he was looking for and has a dysfunctional team, scared attitude and no plan to be able to play football. We have looked horrible all season despite the odd good win and that's fucking inexcusable, we bottled it big time and didn't bother being aggressive or trying to win, barely fucking tested them man and we can't counter attack because Gordon and Elanga are spastics.

They look weak mentally, passive, no aggression, no pressing, no actual plan to play football. Call it what you want but this is the shit Bruce and Pardew served up with lesser players. It's fucking atrocious and there's no style to how we play. I now don't know what our plan is where as previously you could see it. Elanga, Gordon spineless cunts and Woltemade has to be better than this shot

That was fucking disgusting and the way we are setup to not play football is down to one man. Howe is not getting it right at all, tactics, formation, team none of it looks good
