At what point are we genuinely allowed to criticise Howe, whatevers being coached, tactical plan etc just hasn't worked most the season and now this shitshow

It's been terrible, nothing right about how we have played today. Just time ticking away and we still look pretty timid

I hope it is the plan and higher pressure 2nd half but does look like pattern seen most of season.

Just lacking quality with that front 3, they need to be dangerous and hurting teams and don't look capable of it. Intensity well off this season as well. I know we are finding out way since Isak but every game especially away following same pattern and leaves us on wrong side of result. Gordon,Woltemade and Elanga been awful.

What on earth has happened to us as a team, we look so passive a lot of the time and when we do get forward we fuck it up.

A load that go to matches now didn't go even 4 years ago, and then missed about 15 years before that. I will be honest I went from 1990 to 2019, went home and away through a lot of it, Bruce was the final straw and couldn't get season ticket back. Get to about 5 or 6 games a season now through mates. I still love watching every single game, go through the emotions, wish I could get a season ticket but also works better around family life. Have no ambition to go to Mackem land wearing my stone island or CP and fight some slum dweller.

It's just happening so often that's the problem, as a isolated game good result but amount of games thrown away by us that didn't used to happen. Talk about fatigue/tiredness but that's why you have a squad or you have to play a different way so not so much a strain on the team. We aren't the only team in Europe or playing league cup games.

If we hadn't fucked up last 2 champions league games we would be through just about. The system needs sorting and the style, it's not sustainable through games and goals leaked show that.

What the fuck with those subs at end. He had to freshen it up much sooner and seem scared as fuck when are winning rather than pushing on, same from touchline Howe asking them to soak it up? Or just not making subs quick enough. Conceding too many goals with the sit back shit and get cut open when too high up, maybe just find a fucking balance. Infuriating.

This season really can't, that's honest opinion. It's been shit.

Rely on patterns rather than dynamic play and movement. Wingers on both sides that can't cross a ball or beat a man. We're more dynamic with Willock, Murphy in team. Would probably go back to Joelinton and Willock switching on left, just gave us more.

I said that a few games back, what we are watching is no better than the slop Bruce served up right now. Relies on moments of magic more than intent and confidence to hurt teams.

It's not just a striker missing surely, the wings, setup of midfield etc just isn't clicking in games, could understand missing a bunch of chances every game but hardly pepper the box and give it away at stupid moments and just get countered.

I'm not sure how we are playing, our build up play is slow, no movement to drag players away and no bursting runs. We then lose our patience and just give it away, it's so frustrating to watch the static movement or needless giving it away. It's like the intent and aggressive fast play has completely fucked off

Slow and pedestrian in attack, go missing defending and can't seem to pass a ball other than side to side. Lost the intensity, aggression and explosive running behind.

We are so sloppy with ball in attacking half, too far forward so they cut us open as midfield vacated and fuck all movement

Nunez at least was fairly athletic, Isak looks pathetic and can't see it changing

He did fuck all in the game as well, they wasted £120m and have also pissed their top scorer for last 5 or 6 seasons off, it's lovely to see.

Needs to deliver next week, beat Leverkusen and win on the dark side. Nice to see rotation and still getting results though. Managed to give Joelinton, Bruno and Tonali rests as well as Barnes etc last 3 or 4 games and still doing ok. Hopefully by Sunday they are all firing.

Could honestly go either way. Be a good game for neutrals
