Yes it is really, yet it's been more fluke and a bit individual good play (See Remy or Cabaye) than total team effort, good build up or anything remotely nearing a coordinated approach to football. We've scored more goals from outside the box than anyone else in the league, which was highlighted on telly as something to be proud of. It highlighs the facts that a) we have little or no presence in the box, b)e have no clue how to get the ball to our lone striker, c) we're a purely speculative side, d) thank f*** we have a couple of players who can strike the ball well from distance because had we not we'd up s*** creek! even for 10 mins before the game and 10 mins at half time that would be fantastic for a televised game, the coverage would be immense.

There needs to be mass disruption and although it may damage our season / next few seasons, we already look terrible and could flirt with relegation again this season. We need massive changes and getting back to our roots. I am sick of the excuses we can't compete because of finances etc. We have one of biggest attendances in the country, a great catchment area for talent, potentially massive commercial revenue etc and i'm sorry but should be ahead of Swansea and Southampton considering the time we have been in this league in total since our first promotion. It is taking us for total mugs stating the lack of money excuses. Does that excuse why our young players don't progress, why our internationals look awful, why the balance of the team and squad is shocking, why we won't show any kind of ambition on the pitch, why we haven't looked to build a style of football and identity. Why do we want it fixed so soon though, the pressure it could put on the cunts at the club may work in our favour, no toeing the line to appease the club and open season on Pardew hopefully

Unfortunately if we want change it has to be major disruption that would ultimately affect the team, do we just blunder on for next 10 years or take the pain and start protesting, staging walkouts other ideas, rather than just continuing to take it. I am at the point now where I would support any movement as long as it looks like it could be sustained protesting and attempt to get other supporters on board. The difficulty is getting the 75% of fan base who just plod along.

I would be totally happy to lose next 3-4 games if it meant Pardew was dumped, worth the short term pain to try and get someone with half a clue, although no guarantee we end up with anyone remotely decent under Joe and Mike
