  1. The most bizarre thing and sums Pardew up totally is why would you play a midfielder at left back when you have a left back available. Said the same about Ryan Taylor playing left back last season,

I don't like him and also think he is a cunt that hides behind any excuse

Absolutely. Tried to say this yesterday and got the usual reaction. It was s*** from everyone, not just the manager. Is it not the managers job to motivate the players and get performances out of them? While I agree had this been a one off, its totally symptomatic of the season, and ultimately something that deep is management related. It's the managers job to motivate and develop a tactical plan and also play to our strengths. Krul is so uncomfortable and shit at kicking the ball out that we have to keep the ball on the ground. We need players actually busting a gut to get into positions and putting opposition to the cosh. We just mess around with the ball and make so many needless mistakes it's unreal. We are not even organised anymore, I am shocked he still has a job

Absolutely. I thought his switching formations at half time was ridiculous, I know Gouffran was on a yellow but still, bringing on Ameobi is a joke, he is total garbage. Similar playing Jonas at left back when a left back was available was ridiculous, Jonas is not a left back and is a shocking footballer who puts some effort in

Pardew just talks shit and blames anything he can. Total joke of a manager. Can't see where we will get next win

Has to go. The team have no idea how to play football and thats down to him. What is our game plan exactly as appears to not have one
  7. The black garter is normally 6am iirc. Wetherspoons make you buy toast with a drink till 11 or summit like that. Does the Black Garter have Coco Pops If they are not white then no, no it definitely doesn't

I saw that - I think they are all lunatics tbh, yet every mackem I meet seems to have similar traits, all grade A fuckwits when it comes to discussing football.
  9. You need to lie down what that optimistic s*** Ha, don't know what came over me there. Being a nufc fan I have learned to never be optimistic but usually the night before a game I have crazy thoughts of winning games and winning by more than a goal

I think Chelsea will smash them, they will be bang up for it to ensure they stay up there. I reckon Demba will score a couple with Hazard or Moses banging one in

We lost 2 days ago. We lost 2 days ago against a very good side, away from home, largely due to individual errors, in the first leg of the QF of a major european competition, whilst creating some very good chances which we were unfortunate not to convert, without a number of important players. I don't see how it's relevant to the "this team should be challenging for 4th and it's all Pardew's fault we're not" argument. Isn't that the problem though, it's always individual errors, we rarely concede a well worked goal and yet Pardew spends 80% time coaching defence and not even under pressure we tend to fuck up
  12. If we don't win tomorrow then we will be lucky to survive. We need to hit Fulham very early and get in front, need to find Cisse as we did in first 20 against Benfica

In what way? I agree with Interpolic. Certainly in the wide forward position we're lacking with Ben Arfa out. Other than that? With the options Interpolic said. No wonder why we are struggling to score and create chances as that is where we need the most options imo. Having Shola as backup to Cisse is a farce. It is but Suarez was Liverpool's only striker all season until they signed Sturridge. Cisse is fit, playing well and scoring so whoever we bought as back up wouldn't be starting anyway. It's a red herring. Yes it's a position that needs strengthening in the summer but not something that affects us too much right this second. Only one wing is an issue at present, unless you think we've bought a dud with Gouffran. So again we're back to being 100% reliant on Ben Arfa. Cisse and Suarez are completely different footballers. Yip, Cisse relies on early passes to match his good movement, Suarez can do something with just about any ball because of his pace, first touch and tempo in posession

It should be possible with a bit of coaching. Anita, Cabaye and Marveux should be capable of retaining the ball. The problem is we don't pass in patterns, teams like Swansea have players coming to pick up the ball. We wait for it to come to us. We don't play in triangles and often when a player receives a pass he doesn't have a angle to play on to. It comes from coaching in my opinion and it appears very little coaching is done to be honest because it isn't showing

    Alan Pardew

You would expect we could at least pressure teams and retain the ball with that. Not a great deal of attacking intent or ability to push forward there though, Gouffran and Marv maybe if we went 4-3-3 and drop Sissokho in with Cabaye and Tiote holding behind - slight tweak of formation but would push two wingers further forward and balance out by dropping Sissokho slightly back

We have more than enough centre midfielders if we get the right players on flanks and in front of centre mid. If we have wingers with good movement we would look a lot better, also need a not-shola option up front to come on. Would be happy with a hard working striker with pace to put pressure on teams and close them down. Minimum required in summer are 2 wingers and striker, nice to have another centre half.

Back four and centre midfield are top ten, our options in last 3rd are terrible though. If Ben Arfa is fit then we look decent up there but have no viable alternative to Cisse, Sissokho not really a number 10, Marveux is not a winger, Obertan and Jonas also terrible wingers meaning we have no width
  18. I'm thinking 2-0 now for some un-explainable reason
  19. If we beat Fulham and the scum lose to Chelsea it puts massive pressure on them next weekend and not on us
  20. we've got to go to the Hawthorns then we've got Liverpool at home after the mackems. Not really much better in all honesty. Points to be had in both those games if we get our arse into gear. All of Sunderlands games appear to be against teams playing for something. Their best chances appear to be Everton at home, Stoke at home and Villa away and all 3 are fighting for something. We at least have Fulham, West Ham and West Brom that have nothing to really play for
  21. Yip, if we can't manage 2 wins and a draw from last 7 games Pardew should be hung as should the players. I reckon Win against Fulham, draw next weekend and Win against Liverpool personally
  22. nufc4eva

    Shola Ameobi

He just looks so lumbering, clumsy. I'd love to know what Pardew sees what we dont. When Pardew watches the game back in the next couple of days, doesn't he see what we all see. Same goes for Obertan tbh. Notice Pardew makes tons of notes during games, surely one must be never to pick Shola again
  23. When was the last time we conceded a goal from excellent play rather than our own mistakes? happens far to often
  24. Will be very nervous game, I can see it either 2-1 either side or a bore draw
