best: Mourinho Worst: Mclaren(out of managers being mooted obviously(red rum can get fucked))
-
looks like there is only one man most people want and that is mourinho. I would back him all the way although he is known as being a bit defensive he knows how to organize a team and does play expansive football. Would put us into the bracket we want to be at. We are quickly becoming known as career ruiners as we have now with gullitt, daglish, souness and allardyce. Roeders career was already knackered to be honest
-
well i want mourinho
-
Right so if its now an experienced manager who would you want
-
to be fair to shearer. I think he would understand what needs to be done because he has been part of all the shit that has gone on. He would command respect and I think has an idea of how the game should be played. My only issue is that I think the bloke is a legend and dont want that to be ruined
-
Exactly dev. He should have been given the season unless its a world class manager in the mold of wenger, mourinho, ferguson, benitez etc
-
Just like sam pre newcastle then
-
The manager must have some power to blow his fucking socks off down the phone like. Was it not a misprint and he meant to say some top manager blew his cock off
-
Well I would hope they would make money available being shrewd as they must be by being business men they must know the implications of sacking sam and not backing a new man. They must already know who they want else why sack now and not last week or week before or after the replay ?
-
I am totally fucking uninspired by any of redknapp, hughes, mcfuckingclaren, coppell, venables and the rest. It needs to be a foreigner. I felt gutted today because I genuinely thought sam could turn it round given time and thought we needed stability. But I now feel employing one of the british managers mentioned would be a sideways step and won't transform us like we want. If we employ anyone there we may as well have kept sam because the others would have struggled also I feel. I also think whoever they employ they need to back him in the transfer window and get him in the next week. Otherwise this transfer window will pass us right by like so many other times. We have now prob lost out on diarra, brown and anyone else we were in for and need a manager in soon. Hopefully mort and ashley understand this and make the right decision. This decision will show us if we are any better off without shepherd really

Aye I was there and it was full of wannabe 14 year old charvas kicking off. Was quite embarrassing like. Wonder what they would have done if kids went at them. Match was crap. I thought godsmark did well when given the ball on the right. Got a few good crosses in. Apart from that they were crap. Lua could not really get in the game it seemed to me. edgar was shocking. Lough did alright and caroll was good in the air but has a crap first touch and the new lad looked alright when he got the ball but struggled a bit(suppose being his first game and not knowing anyone prob did not help much like)
-
I think koumas would be a quality signing. dont think he will leave there this month though. I think our best shot at the mo is investing in young players around 19-21 with pace and power that are hungry for success. We should maybe look at loaning a couple of players from abroad also. There must be a few players on the continent that we could realistically go for. I also like the look of that benarfur (is that how ya spell it). Have seen him a few times and he caught my eye. Or even get cisse back from marseille as he has the pace and movement
-
I have not seen to much of arshavin or diego to really comment if they would be that good for us. But barnes would be one I would def get for 5mil. riquelme went to boca. I think we need genuine pace in that midfield like an ashley young/babel etc that can unlock teams. Villa seem to have a few of them like young/abonlahor/moore. Maybe it would be worth looking in the championship to see if there are any decent shouts down there. I also think we should try and sign diarra and put a lot of effort in getting him. What does everyone think about trying to buy diouf ? I know he is a nasty shit but he causes problems against most teams and is the type of player you need to push teams back
-
BTW I firmly believe allardyce has the chance to totally transform this team this month by getting high paced skillful players for midfield that know how to run and open up gaps. He should go for barnes tbh and maybe a skillful midfielder from abroad. I would also like to see a mobile forward up front that causes problems all game. Someone with a bit of pace who can also play the physical game. Does not have to be great scorer just do enough to act as a foil for owen and push the teams defence far enough back to create space in midfielde
-
nolan ? another aggressive player. Although to be fair to him he pushes bolton on and can score

Aye troisi is on trial at roda. Apparently they want to loan him not buy though -
aye I read that as well pinkeye he comes across as a right obnoxious wanka like
-
the anelka and brown bit is in the news of the world where it says ashley is going to back him by sanctioning these buys
-
tbh though fumaca was the worst footballer on the planet. Remember when allardyce was coming out slagging off roeder and we thought he should but out of it well now we are saying its ok for robson to do it. Its just another shadow over the club and he sounds fucking bitter tbh. He was not great at the beginning and it was the signings of robert and bellamy that transformed the team at the time. I know he got us into 3rd,4th and 5th but we were also still shoite at the back then and he could not get that right and that cost us a lot of games under him. Yes he won us some great games but the fact was we were a good attacking team but were far to weak a team to ever win anything under him because we were to lightweight and small a team. Now when sam got the job I knew we may end up with unattractive football and I could handle that and recently I have been frustrated as anyone over sams tactics but I still think he will get it right if given the time and resources to do so. He is clearly trying to get us to stop wasting possesion so much and try to be a solid organised team which we were not under any of the last 3 managers tbh. I think he needs at least two seasons to shape the team and getting them play the way he wants. I have a feeling if he gets the back four playing as a unit that the rest will fall into shape and hope he is givent he time but for everyone to put robson right up there and think he is god is rubbish because the players did what they wanted under him.
-
I understand that a little bit spence but robsons comments the other day were more trying to tell sam what to do rather than commenting on the situation and as the poster above said robson signed some crap alaso. Cort, bassedas, cordone, fumaca the list goes on
-
exactly. Robson made mistakes as well. Its starting to do my head in with both him and shearer saying all this stuff to be honest they are just damaging the club even more. If they had any sense they would just keep out and relieve the pressure on the manager in charge if they really do love this club. Robson does come across as very bitter.
-
tbh robson should not be coming out trying to tell him what to do if he wants sam to do well because it just heaps more pressure on. I think robson should but out even though I love the bloke its not his place to say anymore
-
shola is not even good enough for the fucking conference and should never have got his chance here ahead of chopra tbh

Man Utd reject Newcastle bid for Wes Brown - SSN
nufc4eva replied to WarrenBartonCentrePartin's topic in Football
I think brown would def be a step up for us. As much as I want to see us going and buying just attacking players I understand we have to build a solid defence first and move on from there and im hoping sam is just trying to get the back right before the other areas. Browns versatility is invaluable and I think he would be a really good signing as he is a fairly solid defender. He is pretty comfortable on the ball and can play at right back also. -
Oh and personally I would love us to play with the high tempo and be dangerous from every situation which bolton were
