Jonas, Santon, Guthrie, Ben Arfa? Only Jonas in the "team" - I agree in the squad we have those players but he won't play them. Also Jonas never looks totally comfortable with the ball.

Don't understand why we don't get a striker on loan until end of season tbh, must be someone available. If we only sign a centre half then I can see us finishing around 12th, A right back and a striker and we will get top 8

Every time I see other teams such as these to, their movement and play is so much better than ours. Fulham are a canny team to watch I think, good movement at times and 2 full backs attack at times also. Dembele, Ruiz, Murphy etc all look comfortable in posession. We have maybe 4 players in whole team comfortable with the ball in Colo, Cabaye, Tiote and Ba - ridiculous really.

Thought they could only ban retrospectively if ref didn't see it properly. Might apply for Coloccini but ref had a perfect view of Cabaye and let play continue. Thought ref was turned other way when cabaye did that, horrible tackle though could have broken his leg

Agree we need a quality Centre Half and Left Back with Santon going right back eventually. Likely to only get 1/2 players this window so Striker and Centre Half should be priorities I agree 100% that we need the striker that you describe to play alongside Ba/take the reigns whilst Ba is away with Senegal/injured. However we need a decent centre half before another wide man. I also think we lack balance without aquality left footed left back and would target this position also before a wide man.

I reckon to win this we need Tiote, Cabaye and Ben Arfa to play at the level they are capable of and defence to stay organised. We also need Oberwank to not lose the ball all the time and be a decent outlet.

Desperate for another striker with decent technique and mobility to play alongside Demba. Also think we need someone on the wings that can actually cross a ball or has an end product of some description as its fucking painful watching Jonas and Obertan on the wings. Its how most of our play breaks down tbh. We have a centre midfield that can distribute the ball and Wingers who never make the most of it, Jonas looks like running on water with it and Obertan just loses it 9/10

Bound to score on Friday btw, but he has absolutely nothing on Demba Ba except for maybe "medical passing knees", Demba is prolific and I reckon would score in any team. Carrol needs the team to play to his strengths.

I don't think Ben Arfa off just BA will work. I think Ba has played better with a big man in front/beside him this year, such as Best or Shola tbh. I have seen no evidence yet that Ba/Ben Arfa will work as well, however I believe Ben Arfa has to be in there somewhere maybe as part of a front 3 or on the right drifting in (Can't be worse than alien head)

No way should Tiote play in defence, to rash in the tackle and does not put his foot through the ball. Best hope is Kadar or Santon I reckon
