Leicester City v Newcastle United - Monday 14th March 2016
nufc4eva replied to Figures 1-0 Football's topic in Football
From articles I have read about his tactics and selection I can see him playing Shelvey and Anita in centre with Perez and Townsend on wing and Wini in centre. He gets the wingers to drop straight away out of possession before the team press in 2's zonally. Hope he can organise us quickly and make us compact. Contrast that with McLaren or Pardcunt and I bet they just picked players they perceive are hard workers or scared to drop with no other plan than that -
What formation will we actually go with under him. Bound to be 4-2-3-1, he loves that formation doesn't he. I was reading about his love of zonal marking today and how Liverpool conceded least set pieces for 2 seasons and his Valencia team conceding least goals in league. Hope he can sort us immediately
-
It's just a ridiculous situation. Even if he is a shit manager, the way it's being dealt with is not respectful to Schteve, the fans and the players will not know what's going on. If they are getting Rafa sorted then fair enough but still think they should have sacked him first
-
Beyond a joke now, but what do we expect, they are idiots
-
Probably just delaying the bad news that he is staying and preparing their responses to inevitable questions from journalists. He will be in charge for Monday's game and we will get gang banged by 11 blokes in blue
-
I reckon they have every intention of keeping the spazzy one and are just delaying, hoping we don't notice until after Leicester game where we will draw and keep the loser
-
It will be someone British, can't see them going for a forrin at all. It's going to be Redknapp or Pearson and we will be no further forward
-
But what about Robin of Loxley? I don't see how some bloke in tights will fix this but worth a try. Friar tuck could replace Derek Wright and little John can butt fuck Sissoko back to France
-
Really don't want Pearson, Redknapp of Sherwood. Think every one would be a total disaster in long term as keep us up and they would stay. I would go for Moyes or Rafa and wouldn't rule out Rogers
-
I think you can blame McLaren for his part in this. We look bigger losers than ever and he has persisted with a terrible formation all season. We have no width, midfield is overran too frequently and 1 up front has been killing us. A reluctance to dump players like Sissoko, Colo and Wini away from home and not realising Mitro probably needs a partner up front
-
Tbf they shouldn't need a board meeting. Charnley should have text him at half time and sacked him. This club has to become ruthless as we are so wet across the club. There is no resolve. Look at them nonces down the road, one of them caught fiddling and they still crack on winning points, we would have crumbled under the pressure
-
Moyes is a higher class of manager than McLaren like. Whether he can keep us up is another matter and would need to be given time but I would be all for it. Moyes can build a club if given time. Pardew and McLaren destroy clubs because they are born losers
-
He's a shocking footballer. That pace and power and he doesn't know how to use it at all. Never imposes himself on a game, can't control a ball and can't pass 5 yards. Awful, but why the fuck has that prick not at least tried dropping him
-
I think Moyes would organise us. Rafa would be my choice but Moyes and Rogers are miles better than the dick in charge
-
Well that was complete garbage, worst team in the league by far
-
Think people like him give a s*** what people say/think about him? Got it on fairly good authority that he does, actually. Quite a lot. If he gave a shit he would sort him self out, opens himself up to ridicule the fat pig headed cunt. He better sack this fucking loser tonight, no messing
-
Probably be the opposite in anticipation of an announcement of McClaren gone. I hate to wish a defeat on us and never have, but I kinda do tomorrow. Just have to hope the new manager can claw back the 3 pts lost from tomorrow I already figure we are going down now anyway so no point in meltdown but kind of hoping it is a defeat and we get rid of him
-
He is left on his own to much, needs someone playing alongside him.
-
Even give Moyes or Rodgers it and keep whoever when we go down to try and reinvent this soulless club
-
Rafa would be the one like, failing that Moyes. I feel myself wanting to lose tomorrow just to see change
-
Charnley and Ashley are just fucking idiots. Going on about wanting stability which is why they don't sack managers but willing to risk relegation to do so. It's just ridiculous. They have backed a complete loser and should have binned him at Christmas
-
I don't think it matters because I reckon Sunderland will pick up at least 6 points away from home (Against us easily) and look ok at home at moment. They look solid, confident and a lot more dangerous than us.
-
Mind I thought we actually looked better at back without Collocini. Lascelles and Dummet will be decent in championship. May as well blood Sterry now as well
-
Gone to a 10 tonight, between us, Norwich and Sunderland and I have no faith in us, Sunderland look most likely to stay up. Every other team is finding a way of winning or picking up draws and we just can't get a point away from home. I can easily see us losing on Saturday
-
Surely they have to pull the trigger now, Ashley must be bricking it.
