  1. It's almost like we should have bought a left back in the summer
  2. Win some and lose some. The aim this season is to stay up and we will. As long as we beat Bournemouth on sat we are in good shape. We are mostly a championship squad and clearly need better attacking players but on the plus side we just don't look like leaking goals this season, turn those 1-0 away games around or get that bit of luck and we would be fine. Perez and Joselu have to be changed though, it just doesn't work and would like to see Merino with Shelvey on sat if he's fit.
  3. Remember when we used to concede just before half time every game or at least it felt like it in the Pardew dynasty
  4. Sky Sports discussing top 4 what a surprise. What about our match you dickheads

    Rafa Benítez

Yeah it just seems something that a control freak would allow to happen [emoji3]. Fucking no chance
  6. It's clearly the easiest part of management/coaching though. There are so many mediocre managers who can set up a team to be hard to beat but when it comes to improving the creative/attacking side of things they fall flat on their arses, so their teams are just consistently boring as f*** - Pulis, Allardyce, Moyes, Pardew attempted it but he was even s*** at that, Hodgson etc. We're not entertaining to watch at the moment and Rafa is clearly a defensive manager but when he has the right players at his disposal (Torres, Alsono etc. for example) his teams are equally effective going forward. Same with Mourinho. Allardyce is like the Red Adair of football management - teams bring him in when they are haemorrhaging goals and heading for the drop. Once he's stabilised things, his employers invariably replace him because he can't do anything beyond that (and he's completely repellent). Pardew couldn't even organise our team, whether that was because of the scatter gun buying of attacking players and neglecting defence from those above him or the simple fact he's a shocking manager that tells lie after lie about front foot attacking football, which I saw no evidence of. Either be solid, organised and well balanced and look to take games by the odd goal or be good attacking and try and score more than them. The reason I am overjoyed with Rafa is getting a squad playing professionally with tactics, organisation and hard to beat. It's so hard to just attack unless you are Man City. Chelsea, Man U and Spurs are all built off a good defence and organisation at back and centre. They just have a lot more quality in their teams. I would love us to go out and batter teams relentlessly, however reality is that we need to be organised. The difference between the British managers and Rafa, Mourinho etc is that the forrins are excellent tactically, can coach and can manage players.
  7. We will likely win 1 and lose 1 but what an opportunity at this stage. Don't think either team is beyond us beating them but we will slip up at some point
  8. 2-0 win to us and we will be sitting pretty going into November. If we can beat Bournemouth as well I would suggest we won't be getting relegated and can focus on battle for top 4 [emoji3]

At a time where they should only look inward I imagine they are still obsessing over us at every opportunity, despite the fact we are fairing ok and could be taken over with investment in first team and a Manager that can only take us forwards. What a bunch of retards, I for one will let them keep the 6 in a row, I hope they sink through the league's never to return. If they go down again we won't play them for at least 10 years I reckon. It's a long way back.

It wouldn't be a Saturday without the scruffs losing again
  11. I still expect the fat one to own us come Jan and beyond. We aren't allowed nice things, Rafa aside of course
  12. Hang on what - the dick was mr fucking funeral over Ashley. He's such a cock
  13. Hope she buys her way to the title, then Paul Merson can spaz out discussing how footballs gone mad the alky cunt

Who gives a f***. I'll go check RTG. When you've had a bad day and feeling down it's the best place to cheer yourself up. They don't realise they're all natural born comedians. Not our rivals anymore tbh, Man City etc will be our rivals from now on [emoji16]
  15. We will be consistent all season and will lose a fair few, ride our luck and win enough to see us mid table. Rafa is too experienced for us to go on losing streaks. Reckon we will beat either Palace or Burnley and have a nice 14 points on board after 10 games
  16. I think Murphy looks weak as piss. Gonna take a while before he can play

    Rafa Benítez

He has improved pretty much every player we have bought since the start of last season plus Lascelles and Shelvey. In terms of Focus, Consistency, Discipline, Team Ethic everything has been massively improved in 18 months compared to the utter shambles we were previously. We can actually defend and even though I would like to see more going forward it's a solid base to start from. I no longer feel a team will hammer us completely.
  18. This game will be good to benchmark where we are at. 2 defeats by teams we came up with away don't tell us that much really and we have played pretty well in the other 4 games. I expect us to nullify as usual but think we will get at them from set pieces and crosses when we get the chance. I hope he plays Gayle from the start as we need to try and get him scoring, but that means we need Shelvey in as well alongside Merino
  19. Greedy fuckers. They already make massive amounts of money and the league is not just about those top 6 or Europe. It's about teams being competitive and teams being capable of bringing in talent due to that funding. Every team in the league adds to the entertainment value of the brand and is what has made it so successful.

A migraine is not a headache. It sickens me how people don't know the difference. When you have a proper migraine you can't even see properly, you have the worst pain imaginable in your head which leads to vomiting and you're weak as f*** all the time. Taking pain killers does absolutely nothing unless you're in a very dark environment for a period of time and you may need to go to sleep for a while as well. Then you've pain in your head any time you move your head for about two days afterwards. I had these for years and it's genuinely no joke. Yip, used to get them horrifically as a kid, thankfully they stopped. Still get migraine like symptoms when I've had a few pints though
