Yep, thought he was very tidy. Played the ball forward really well.

Said in the match thread but he's getting so little and nicking goals, such a goalscorer. We sort out some half decent delivery and he'd get loads.
-
fucking hell we keep doing it late. Cisse is getting absolute scraps but he keeps nicking goals.

Poor form in a season where many others have been poor and the team has underachieved coupled with disruption due to injury and ACON is hardly a recipe for a good season. He needs to improve for sure, but I'm gonna stick by him a little longer before insisting that he's suddenly absolute shite and needs to be moved on.

Oh my A bit OTT, but I think he'll become a better player. He's got pretty much everything Colo has + pace and he's good in the air. he's certainly got the attributes to be a better player, but I do love me some Colo.

I love his technique in his passes, so crisp!

Oh my

So, so silly from Tiote, he'd had a decent game, particularly first half.
-
Thank fuck for that, class by Marv, thought Cisse was offside so didn't really celebrate

Jonas hasn't played poorly...
-
How is he so bad at every other set piece
-
Ficking love that man, get in!

Begovic acting a cunt there.

Ridiculous challenge aside those 2 have been some of our better players.
-
This is fucking dire, they look like they can't be arsed.

I thought Cabaye had a better game than Anita. He was in a deeper role today but was scrappy and worked hard. Kept things moving.

Not sure if serious... Fuck off

Disgraceful bit of business, like. At the time, or in retrospect? Was Routledge ever as good for us as he has been for Swansea? I was always a fan. He was mostly cack for us, another one who gets hugely overrated on here since he's left IMO, some people go on like he's HBA. Don't think he's good enough for us, neither is Obertan either though. He was better than Obertan when he left, it was a strange thing to do even at the time. IMO the difference is that Routledge had chances at numerous clubs and never looked like being able to hack it at the top level. Obertan, despite being poor at Man Utd was a player of relative potential that was a low risk investment. There's also the fact that neither of them were going to be regulars so Routledge would have been more likely to get frustrated quicker. Squad harmony etc... True, there were a few reasons behind it but it hasn't paid off at all. Been a couple of times this season i've thought he's starting to show it, but he's just too thick to learn to do anything with the bits of talent he does have. Yep, it certainly hasn't paid off. As you say he has shown glimpses of improvement this season but it'll take a lot of effort for him to become a good player.

He didn't look out and out up front to me.

First time I can recall really paying attention to a game on a pitch like that - it almost looks like a different sport. You can tell the players look concerned with the way they go down when they make contact with the opposition, and there's pretty much no tackles going in. Don't think the pitch allows the best of accounts of the game to be given. With regards to us, we've looked comfortable, Obertan has been shite, Marv and Anita have given the ball away cheaply in advanced positions a couple of times, but otherwise nothing to write home about. Be nice if we could nick a goal.

Ben Arfa starting = Excitement levels rising!

Very annoying, shouldn't have lost that. Wasted opportunity.
