Cracking goal that. Came on nicely as the half went on. Over the 45 I'd say even-ish, they probably had the better overall though. Please don't sit back and panic as we always seem to do lately when we go a goal up.

Fucking hate this song. So drab.

Bit disappointing that people are referring to him as knacked and his legs have gone etc, rather than that he's just off form. I'm more than happy to give him a chance to prove its the latter, but he definitely needs to pick up soon.

Obertan deserves a spot on the bench ahead of Marveaux, disappointingly.
-
I hope you're right, but I like how you pick our 2 goalscorers to be someone that's never scored for us before and someone that's only managed to score with his back so far this season

Agree on Cisse and Taylor, but at the moment, it's a bit of a bold statement to say Anita is a massive upgrade on Simpson at RB. My grandma who needs a hip operation would be a massive upgrade on Simpson. I don't rate the guy, but he hasn't been noticeably worse than anyone else this season.

Enough to cause us trouble that Liverpool side

Not a bad lineup.

Mega justice that

Nolan's finishing is bloody good.
-
Not saying he's faultless or anything this season but it's gotta be hard for him to dictate games where he's either watching balls float over his head all game or out numbered in the middle.
-
This is utter shite.

He's probably decided to play Shola because he was subbed off so early against Sunderland. Not how a team should be picked obviously, but reckon that's half the reason.
-
3 fuckng men and HBA still got past them.

Funny old half, I thought we controlled the game relatively well, yet could have conceded a couple. Thought we looked alright, be very frustrating if we don't win this.
-
I really want Marveaux to do well for us, he has the technical ability, but I just can't see it happening for some reason. Hope I'm proven wrongm, but he just doesn't seem imposing enough.

If Le Tissier had said that he could understand the ref giving him a red then I don't think I'd be quite so fucking furious but he's making out like it was a vicious assault. Tiote stuck his leg out and got the player, there wasn't any indication of him trying to hurt the player. Also boils my piss that the ref gave a red card instantly without actually being in any position to see the challenge, pretty sure all he could see was Tiote's back and a player go down. Definite yellow card, harsh red.

I feel strangely ok at the moment.

What about a wider context? The context in which we regularly line up in a 4-4-2 and pump it up to the strikers with a group of players that aren't suited to it. But that wasn't his point. Edit: And I agree with your wider context btw.
-
People are hearing what they want to hear with that comment from Pardew and taking it right out of context.
-
I agree with his point completely to be honest, this will be a heated game, the players will need to be up for it.

Just about to mention that

O'neill sounds really timid.
