That is fuckin disgraceful... The referee should get a three match ban instead, clown!

Google and Al Jazeera. I know it's unlikely, but I hope Sky have been outbid, and even better if it was someone like Google that beat them. Games streamed live on YouTube Streaming games is not really ideal since there is still a lot of people with rubbish Internet speeds How fast does your connection need to be to get a decent stream though? I have around 10meg and I thought that was good, I still have poor picture quality and occasional buffering while streaming a match... 10mb is usually enough, I've played online games with that and you shouldn't have much buffering. It all depends though, the buffering may come from the servers at the other end. Ah, I get you, the person who is uploading the match may have poor internet? I am trying to get fibre here but, only Virgin offer it in my area so far and there is no way I am having them come and dig up my drive to put a cable in! Edit - not to upload football streaming I need to add (wouldn't have a clue how to do that), I just want fibre because of the amount of things in my house that are connected to my router!

Given there is seven packages, it would be pretty unfathomable if they were to get less than four. To be honest, I like Sky's coverage and I am pretty happy with the service. If a third or fourth broadcaster gets packages the price to watch everything will go through the roof. Consumer can't really win. The only way it can work in the favour of the consumer, or viewer, is to have a pay per view service where you pay a reasonable amount for the games you want to see, regardless of which channel they are broadcast. It is pretty straightforward to watch every game of your chosen club live via the interweb already - sometimes the quality is not great of course. If there was a way to watch the games I wanted to watch in HD quality for a sensible price I would be interested.. Not the 10 Pound per day option you can currently get, I can have the channel for a month for that amount with the rest of my Sky package. The cost per game should be 2- 3 Quids max!!

I have always said that I have never seen a professional footballer who is less comfortable with the ball than Mike Williamson.

When I resigned my season ticket I also missed the official deadline. The girl in the ticket office told me that it was not officially possible to cancel outside of the allowed window but, if I cancelled my direct debit what could they do? I still attended all games until the end of the season, the card worked right up to the end....

This is fact, is it? I dunno. seems that way.. Assume you have some detailed information to discredit my glib off the cuff statement? I did say - It seems ever since....
-
Was Carroll not the turning point for Ashley, the catalyst where he thought.... hang on, I can sell players and make money!!! It seems ever since that deal was done that no offer for any player has ever been turned down.
-
That was 35Mil though and for that sort of money I was reasonably happy - because at the time I truly believed that we would invest all that money into new players!

My son was in tears when we sold Cabaye. Hardly surprising as he is only 22.... Joke, he was 8 at the time! It is hard to explain subjectively to a child that the club will do this over and again to the best players because financials are more important that having a good team, they just see the team as being everything and cannot understand that the owner would sell good players..... I tried to explain that Ashley is a cunt without actually saying those words, I think he gets it now but, like many other kids he will be gutted when Aarons goes, when Perez goes and what seems a lot more imminent when Sissoko goes in the summer....
-
There is nothing to suggest that he will ever leave the club, and in reality why should he. He is making tons of cash here. In business no-one cares whether they are loved or hated, it is all about the $$$

I am pretty sure that even if NUFC played football in front of a completely empty stadium, i.e. no fans, that Ashley would still not be losing money. As that is all he cares about it would seem that not going to the match only really effects the person who chooses not to go. I stopped going and gave up my long term season ticket in the East Stand at the end of last season and will absolutely not go back while this thief is he owner of my club. I thought I would miss it terribly but, the truth is I don't miss it at all. I do miss the people I sat near and the pre match beers in town. The football and everything that goes with that has not been a problem to me. I look at the results, when we lose I am a little glum but, I wouldn't say I am particularly bothered - at least not like I was 10+ years ago when it meant something! I guess it is fair to say that I was broken around 2 - 3 years ago by the regime, I put up with it for a couple of years and then decided that while my season ticket money made little difference to Ashley it did make a difference to me and I now have 60 quid per month extra to spend on other things.... Those of you that still go should just ask yourselves whether you go because you don't want to stop or whether you actually get any enjoyment from being at the game. I don't care whether you all carry on going or whether you stop, it doesn't effect me at all, it has to be for yourselves. I would bet that more than half of you that still go cannot say in 100% honesty that it is the game of football that keeps you going back - there will be some other circumstance or activity that you associate with going to he match that you are more addicted to... Like I said for me it was the people around me, I can keep in touch with them by phone or meet up in the pub etc. I can have a drink any time I want to, doesn't have to be Saturday afternoon. The football actually meant very little to me when I analysed everything. It will take a lot to get me going back now but, Ashley and his cronies gone will be a huge step in the right direction....

He wont say anything, he already came out last week and said that he is head coach - therefore inbounds and out bounds are not part of his remit. I would bet he knew this was happening and made that statement so that he wouldn't face any personal criticism over it!!
-
My Boss is a Stutgart fan, fuckin' hates this guy!
-
"There he is! Seat 3F!" Business class, no chance Ashley would stump up for that!
-
Pretty sure that some police are properly up for trouble as well, I remember walking up to the match on derby day a few years back and my dad just stopping to talk to one copper (probably something quite benign knowing my dad and his crack), bear in mind my dad is in his 70's, and the copper pushed him along shouting about keeping moving or something, I swear the guy was on his toes bouncing like a boxer looking to throw the punch, they get too fired up for it - expecting the worst and because most are fuckin cowards that hide behind their uniform and truncheon they have no idea how to responsibly control a crowd without causing antagonism.... Just look at the state of the US the last few weeks when they get a bit of civil disorder.....

Jews aren't a race and are predominantly white anyway It's just more negative, anti-semitic stereotyping and you've completely missed the point. How have I missed the point? Balotelli posted that as a joke, if anything he should be the one to be offended that this is even being investigated - he has been racially abused on a regular basis throughout his entire life / career! But, if you are saying the joke is OK except for the bit that suggests that Jewish people, as a religious stereotype, are fond of money then I have to say I am sorry. I am quite keen on money myself, so replace Jew with a picture of me grabbing coins and the world is good again.....
-
Is that really offensive to anyone though? I would say that it is generally "white" people who are trying to appear perfectly NOT racist that seem to take the most offence at stuff like that.
-
True, I did think after I pressed "post" about what an utterly pointless post that really was!

I followed Tiote through security at Newcastle airport on 11th Nov but, a combination of the slowness of the security staff to get me through and the bizarre slowness of the pair in front of me to put their stuff into the trays to be scanned meant that by the time I was through he was way gone. I couldn't find him in the lounge either so I guess there must be a very special private lounge for people who are super famous i.e. not for general public... He looked in great shape to me but, I am not a doctor!

Perspective speaking I believe....

The radiotherapy treatment for testicular cancer can damage / destroy the hip joints. Possibly this could be career ending for Jonas. All you younger guys should be checking regularly for anything that feels different down there!! Wake up call....

Mystery resolved. Good Luck and get well Jonas!!

They don't tell the media anything, all banned!

He seems to have completed his task of convincing the fans that we are unable to compete against the bigger teams - you know like Swansea, Stoke and West Brom. Now he seems to have also got his message across to the players as well. Dead man walking hopefully!!
