I know that every leg break is different but, it really annoys me when I see the likes of Ramsey back and playing at Arsenal and Valencia playing at Man Utd while Ben Arfa is still recovering from his injury. Their breaks, Ramsey's in particular, seemed to be far more serious yet they are back and good as new. It makes me question what our medical team do. It seems to me that we take far longer to get our players back to fitness following any sort of injury than other clubs. Anyone else see that or is it just me being cynical?

You want a friendly (to both of you area) or is one of you feeling brave?

Got a list of my monthly payments in post today. Personally, as i'm not in the North West corner, my 1st payment is March 25th, then April 1st and 1st of each month thereafter. Mine says exactly the same as that, 25th March then the 1st of each following month until Feb next year.

Dont think so but, surely not until the deadline for renewals is reached and that wasn't particularly clear as there are a number of dates that qualify you for different things such as 12 months drect debit, 10 months and so on! I'll check if there is a final deadline and post it on here later.

Yes, I got mine and my dads, sent to my account earlier this week!

Correct and - if true - shocking behaviour. No-one knows 100% that is really what happened though is it?

I actually replied that I thought it was typical of the selfrighteous and sanctimoneous comments that I would have expected from a Man Utd fan and that what Shearer did has no bearing or relation to the converstaion we were having. However, for the record I think Shearer was bang out of order for the stamp, totally out of character and he should have been punished by way of a lengthy ban - even though at the time of talking to the Man Utd fan I didn't feel it necessary to say that. Plus it was practically 15 years ago or something! On another note; is it just me that finds them talking about Man Utd and referring to them as just "United" irritating? And then you get the ones that claim that they were season ticket holders but, chucked them in when the Glazers took over and started to follow FC United calling Man Utd "Big Utd", I mean how fucking pathetic?? Big United? Jesus christ!

I was having, what I thought was, an intelligent conversation about the Rooney incident with a Man Utd fan earlier. Suggesting to him that he may need to remove his blinkers and red coloured glasses (Metaphorically)to really understand the opinions of other people and the fact that everyone (except Man Utd fans) is enraged by the Rooney / Clattenberg issue and that Rooney should be serving a lengthy ban right now. You wouldn't guess his response and immediate defence of Rooney's actions: "What about when Shearer stamped on Neil Lennon's head and didn't get any sanctions against him?" I had to exit the conversation and give up. What is the point? Their only defence is to throw counter accusations and vitriolic bollocks about. I am truly saddened that their grip on reality has completely gone.....

You want to hear the Man Utd fans whine about how badly treated they think they were last night against Chelsea. Fuckin hell, they get a ref who treats them the way that every other more "lowly" team is treated and they kick off big time! To cap it all they got beat so the dummys are truly out! What a shame eh? Cunts!

Ashley probably brokering a deal with Toon and Slazenger for the next 10 years supply of kits..... :frantic:

Retrospective or Retrospectively Thanks........ logged for future usage!

Newcastle United should write a letter of complaint that we have been dealt with in a completely different manner to that how Man Utd were treated. While I don't disagree that both Barton and Willi should have been red carded for their offences, I also think Rooney should have been. If Clattenberg did see it properly, he would surely have red carded him. If the FA accept that he saw it and acted in a way he deemed to be appropriate he should be given a couple of weeks in the lower leagues as a punishment. As should the useless lines man who gave Bowyer offside in the first few minutes of the Carling Cup Final! Officiating standards seem to be getting worse all the time!

I am good at giving people the chance to do that! It is what I come on here for!

Posthumous probably does mean after death but, I couldn't think of a word that meant after the event or something... Did you not know what I meant?

Following our recent two incidents that resulted in pothumous bans for Newcastle players, Barton and Williamson, for incidents in games that would have been red cards had the referee seen them blah blah! Wayne Rooney has escaped a posthumous red card for his amazing elbow attack on a Wigan player at the weekend. Mark Clattenburg wrote in his post match report that he had seen the incident and deemed it only worthy of a quiet word in the players ear! Unbelievable!

I agree that it is pretty much nailed on that he will be leaving in the summer, especially if Real or Barca come knocking, plus that would lead to the lad getting into the Spanish national set up as well..... You can't blame him! Think he should sign a new contract anyway though - just to make sure we get a decent fee when he does go. Not too much to ask.

I saw Lee Sharp out just before Christmas is a bar in Chappel Allerton near Leeds.

I have just done a very RTG thing and made myself laugh in the process... On facebook there is an advert that seems to appear on every page that I go on called "Sunderland Bucket List" or something like that and it is, apparently, a list of things you must do in Sunderland before you die (of boredom). I clicked to remove the advert and a second graphic came up asking why I had removed it and one of the options was offensive and I couldn't resist. Apparently Facebook take this sort of thing very seriously and build up a profile over time that will stop them from allow such content to appear on their pages......... I actually let out a little laugh to myself as I did it... I am truly sad!

Just watched the highlights (again) on MoTD on my Sky+. That Tiote goal........ I am smiling just thinking about it.

Albania on Wear........ haha.

I think it is fair to say that the author of that incredibly well written piece really doesn't like Joey Barton does he? "Barton's disgusting challenge" - when referring to the incident that lead to Diaby being issued a red card. I can only assume that he has not seen the incident yet, in the same way that Wenger never sees anything! If there had been the slightest thing wrong with the way Barton went for the ball then the FA would have been all over it by now, and you can guarentee that they will have looked at it several times to make sure there was no chance of issuing another postumous red card to one of our team of little savages. Personally the way Barton conducts himself in the game now is admirable and testament to a man who is trying to change!

The Martin Jol one is pure class!!

The amount of clubs that get linked to MON is verging on ridiculous, every time there is vacancy up pops his name yet, he never is employed.... Is it not possible that he is happy just not working anymore and maybe we won't see him at any club as manager ever again?

Really! My neighbour would probably top himself if this is true. You better keep an eye on him then.... suicide watch!
