Ok so it is not based on every aspect of turnover it is purely earnings related to league position and TV money. Got you! And the fact that Sky only want to show matches that people will actually want to watch.....
-
Is that the only reason? Or is that stat only in relation to live TV appearances?
-
Ha ha, I felt compelled as I was saying the words in my own head in my bestest Rainier Wolfcastle accent.....
-
These goggle, they do nothing........
-
That is not the reason, it is because he always makes sure that he hires a mackem to do work around his house!
-
It is actually a length of unused wallpaper isn't it? Would love to see the other side to see how tastlessly their mother has decorated their parlour.....

Yay, they have marched bravely through Newcastle, in the middle of the night, with a rolled up rag of paper - unfurled their creation and took a quick snap. That is truly hilarious!

Overall reflections Season of contrasts, many highs and several lows. When I look back on this season I will consider it to be a resounding success based on the same squad, effectively, coming up as Championship winners and doing a tremendous job in the Premiership. The difference in apparent team spirit over the last two seasons in comparason to previous years, where infighting has been obvious, has been easy to note. This group (to quote Pardew) of players have done us all proud and brough credibility back to our club. I enjoyed the Championship season but, this has been something else entirely. High Moment Without doubt the 4th goal in our comeback game against Arsenal. The atmosphere in the ground was electric, even the East Stand was rocking..... Beating S***er***d was a high but, the derby games are always very tense for me as a supporter so I don't really enjoy them. Tiote's goal went in against Arsenal and the euphoria was immeasurable! Total high!! Low Moment Haven't really had a moment this season that would rate as an absolute low, being relegated the previous year was a painful pill to swallow but, everything since then has been very enjoyable. My brother in law texting to say that Carroll had left was a serious low, one that we have recovered from, got up and just carried on with the job in hand to the best of the remaining players ability! Wasn't too chuffed with the WBA and Bolton away results but, poor results are quickly forgotten as soon as a good one comes along. Best Player Colo without doubt. We have never had such a stylish centreback at our club, in my memory anyway. He oozes class and hardly puts a foot wrong. Special mentions must go to Barton and Jose for solid performances and consistancy. Best Individual Performance Nolan in the 5 - 1 was a sublime Captains performance, understood the magnitude of the game and stepped in with a masterclass in how to humiliate your opponent. Ben Arfa in the Everton game will take some beating as well. Best Buy Going with concensus here and saying Tiote. Solid and incredible value for his transfer fee. Most Improved Barton, Colo, Simpson, Best, have all thrived in the current set up and improved measurably.

We could have done that but, I wanted to get a seat that was high enough up so that I wouldn't get the sun in my eyes too badly or for too long at this time of the year but, more at the start of the season. It was quite nice being inside the ground where there was nobody else in it.
-
A little bit different but, a few seasons ago I asked for a seat move on my renewal form, wanted to get in the East Stand, and I was rang up and given an appointment to go to the ground and was taken through the box office and out into the empty stadium, me and my dad were shown the seats that were available so we could pick the two that we wanted. Worked out really well for us. It can be done, not sure how they will cope with a couple of thousand wanting to pick their own seats though!

What's that coming over the hill? Is it a mackem, is it a mackem??? Ha ha.

Not being funny but, I am certain that I saw Kenny Dalglish mouthing the words "piss off" towards Arsen Wenger as well. What is this world coming to?

Maybe you can watch the training sessions on tv in the pub?
-
Prison?
-
Totallyn agree - I am with Bupa and everything I have had medically has been dealt with in a substantially better way than it would by the NHS, even if you just consider the waiting time alone BUPA is better!

My brother in law broke his 3rd and 4th a year ago and still has pain from it, they pinned the bones then had to rebreak as they didn't heal properly first time. He is playing football but, you can see he is not right!
-
Who would he push out of Man Utd's team? Their weakness, huh weakness, is the central midfield like Carrick in my opinion.

What he said was that our medical team are clearly one of the worst in the league. I find it quite hard to argue against that. I obviously have nothing to back that up but, we do seem, as a club, to have a poor record of bringing players back to fitness in any sort of timely manner. When we do get them back there generally seems to be some sort of immediate set back. If they are not ready the medical team should say they aren't instead of letting them play. Jose Enrique at the weekend being a prime example! To clarify, I am sure they are all fully competent and trained individuals. Collectively I don't think they do a great job. It is likely that we also don't have the same facilities that other clubs have at their disposal either. No need to lambast the lad for making his comment!

Thanks for that, I was joking really. My toe is still an odd shade of purple and fuckin' kills, especially when I put on any sort of shoe.
-
Chelsea Ultras? They'll whoop your ass!! haha.
-
Our medical team is clearly one of the worst in the league. Always harping on about it, but the sooner we clear out the lot of them, the better. The French are dealing with HBA not us. Ok, I take that point. Still frustrating when we could really do with him playing. The other one os obviously Gosling, who has his own thread, and he seems no nearer playing again than he was when we tried him out in Jan (?).

I broke my toe 3 weeks ago and I am thinking that I could be ready to kick a ball again in a week or two though....... Not the same I know.
