  1. Whenever I've been to Selhurst to watch us play and granted it's been a while since I did, but I recall a severe lack of boozers in the vicinity of the ground.

Good grief they're shocking. He knows they're there too. Tightly folded arms

His voice is really grating. Im sure he's over emphasing the Italiano.
  4. Dummett and Gouffran down the left offer the sum of fuck all. Someone getting paid half a million quid a year should be able to spot that.
  5. We're more likely to approach Barry Fry.
  6. Have a great day folks, wish I could be there.
  7. Top of the League at the moment on alphabetical order.
  8. Why is Rooney still on the pitch? He's been nothing short of abysmal.

Shame £7m well spent He'll probably miss the window.
  10. Iniesta certainly is more consistent but Zidane hit greater heights for me.
  11. Cronaldo is an athlete. He is a fine player. Zidane was an artist. Simples.
  12. This post You are either deliberately forgetting the 2006 World Cup to suit your argument or didn't watch it at all. No one is saying CRonaldo isn't one of the greatest, but if it was down to one final game and I had to pick between the two, I'd take Zidane 10 times out of 10. The guy was simply the best when it mattered the most. v Brazil 98', Portugal 00', Bayer Leverkusen 02', game against Spain, Brazil, Portugal and even Italy until the headbut in the 06' World Cup. He was just that good at his best, what CRonaldo has over him is consistency, that doesn't mean Zidane wasn't consistent, just meant he turned it up a notch in the most important games. In one. The abilty to be able to show up in the big games is one Zidane had in abundance. Midweek game away at Cadiz and he wouldn't be arsed when you know CRonaldo would be taking the match ball home. Zidane simply was a magician when he wanted to be.
  13. Zidane at his best was better than Ronaldo or Messi at their best.
  14. Who remembers when Pardle declared Wayne Routledge wasn't good enough for us?
  15. Would've played under Graham Carr at Nuneaton many moons ago.
