As I already said, people in Ireland don't have a negative view of England anymore but the reason for Ireland disliking England in the past was nothing to do with football Ive had Irishmen celebrate beating the UK in Eurovision ffs. We know it's not just football.

And add the historical factor as an added source of jealousy then Paddy/Jock/Taffy is your uncle.

Wrong country, mate. I'm Northern Irish and also a proud Brit. Wasn't talking to you.
-
Not see the footage of the magical Magyars celebrating around Wembley after destroying England 6-3 in 53? Maybe the Danish side doing the same in 83? It's always been a big thing to beat England. You yourself beat us at Windsor Park and then celebrated like you'd won the World Cup. Would you have celebrated in such a fashion after beating say Poland or Belgium? Would you fuck

Im sure it's to do with us English actually inventing these games. Association Football, Rugby Union and League and Cricket. It's where you see the most not hatred but a raise of their games by opposing countries.. You'd appreciate what Im saying if tarmacking became an International competitive sport. [emoji6]

Not as much as it would hurt you to see Ireland qualify Just another foreign country to us. No different from any other. You can't say the same about us. Not another foreign country to Ronaldo, he fucking hates Ireland I'm fairly sure you're flattering yourself somewhat there I'm not and I'd say he would probably admit he hates Ireland or at least has a dislike for Ireland I'm a proud Brit and obviously react to anti-British nonsense from the Irish but I really don't dislike Ireland more than any other European country. I love Father Ted too and some of that was actually filmed in Ireland, so goes the rumour. There you go triggs. Just as I said. It's a fact of life that England or Britain are far more important to other nations than they are to us. Everybody and everyone raises their game to play us. Are you serious? That must be why you can't win anything, because teams raise their games against you, not because your players aren't good enough fuck sake Also, I don't see how that has anything to do with my opinion that Ronaldo dislikes Ireland We've already established he doesn't dislike Ireland and that he finds Ireland as inconsequential as any other Englishman. We though are the major object of you're ire. You're much like Middlesbrough. As a country I mean. When have I ever expressed any dislike for England on here. If pulling you up on some ridiculously arrogant comments is expressing my dislike for England, then I'm sorry As a country I meant somewhat obviously. Not you personally. Not anymore I'm afraid as much as you want to be disliked by us. Irish people really don't care about England anymore for the most part Rightho.

It's not just now. It's a historical thing. I didn't expect someone of your intellect to understand tbf.

You're talking testicles. Seems to be a phase you're going through. Shame it's lasted so long.

No it doesn't and shut up you tart. It totally does like. Completely. It's fact. And teams don't raise their games to play Manchester United. More teams in the past attempt to keep the score down. My point still stands. To you it does. Not to me. And it isn't just football either. It's every sport. Cricket, rugby etc. Everybody wants to beat the Brits or England. It's because we're a big draw to the rest of the World. Ask Flip. He's a Brazilian. A country who've won 5 World Cups. Yet a game against us is a prestigious game. As it is for us in this case

Depends where he plays before the next MLS season starts, but I can see him playing a few more games for England. What. At. Bowls?
-
I note Lampard has yet to make a decision on his International future. Hodgson should man up and make it for him.
-
The Owen we had for sure. The pre 2002 Owen I'd say no.
-
Yeah but ankle in London means Mam or Dad's brother.

Could be before then as Allardyce only has a year left on his contract and I'd be surprised if it was extended. I'll be surprised if he lasts till Christmas they got beat off Wellington this morning and by all accounts were terrible Aye. Can see him getting the boot. And he could have no beef with that.
-
I'd agree with that.
-
I don't love Gerrard. He'd be quite low down if I had to pick a list of the best English players I've seen. Probably scrape a top twenty.

The goal that wasn't against Germany and the CL final goal weren't crucial goals. One wasn't even a goal and the other game they lost. This is exactly why it's pointless having any debate with you like. You're just ridiculously stubborn when you've made up your mind about something. So you are saying they are crucial goals. One that wasn't a goal and the other that made no difference whatsoever where the trophy ended up?
