Go on then, I bet you 1 trillion pounds that at least one of them is.
-
Surely that should be George Burley ?
-
Absolutely no way on Earth that Benitez stays at Chelsea.
-
He then shit on the Mackums and agitated for a transfer, by basically playing crap. Until he got his desired move to Man City. Lovely, lovely person by all accounts Good player mind. That overhead kick is one of the best goals against us I'd say , the skillful prick.
-
Of course he was, I thought that was fairly universally accepted given how blindingly obvious it was. I thought so. We'd never have been relegated with him in charge.
-
And I'd go as far to say that no team before or since in the Premiership has played more entertaining football than Keegan's Newcastle teams in his first spell. Every cunt and his dog wanted to watch us. We were the neutral's faves. Crowds would rise at away grounds when Keegan and his Newcastle team were in town. Unless you lived it, you wouldn't appreciate the magnitude of it all, honestly.

Sad and totally disrespectful.

Happy birthday Special K. His work with us should be celebrated and not mocked as some of the cretins who post on here do. Outstanding job.
-
Well I make no bones about it...I hope that the team in white win by at least 4.

He had a shaky start at Manchester United as I recall but ended the season as a Treble winner. He had good pace, good positioning, and brilliant in the air. There haven't been many better central defenders in the Premiership era, if any. Taggart certainly made an error asserting his power with Stam and getting rid way too early.

Wasn't he Argentinian?
-
He was a massive prospect whilst at Coventry. Always looked good whenever I saw him. In the Hansen mould .

This. Maybe the harsh treatment of the club during the start of his tenure all of the way down to relegation was what we needed. We were seen as a soft touch for players looking for one last pay-day and we still had, in some quarters, ridiculous expectation. Relegation tempered this massively and the perspective and expectation in the fans has changed massively. We have far more patience as a whole as fans now that we "know our lot" I wish I could accept that, but it would be interesting to see how much patience there would still be if we hadn't done our mad January spending spree. (Not that there's necessarily anything wrong with fans wanting signings) Of course there would've been discontent if we hadn't splashed out, and rightly so. Without the better late than never investment , we would've almost certainly been relegated.

Methodical. Tim Howard is dummy. RVP did the exact same thing like 20 minutes earlier. You must be on the wind up are you? You've never stepped the tempo of the game up once. Perhaps it's because you haven't had to, but still, it's methodical. I don't expect you to be thinking with a balanced view considering you're a Man U fan and your team are winning right now. I've never claimed Man U were terrible, just very boring and methodical to watch. Sure you guys have won 20/21 games, and are 'strolling' to another league title, but that doesn't really change the way I feel whenever I watch your team play. It's all about workrate and team shape. I agree that a big part of our play is about workrate and team shape but our attacking play is fantastic and always has been. The movement of our players in the final third causes every team problems. Manchester United's attacking play hasn't always been fantastic at all. How's about the year they got relegated ? How about Dave Sexton having Garry Birtles and Peter Davenport up front. How about Fergusons first four years when frankly they'd put a glass eye to sleep. It's a myth, nothing more.

Someone should have kicked Bale early in the piece, I mean properly gone in hard on him, not the accidental hit that Perch gave him that gave him the opportunity to pull out his BAFTA award winning skills. It seems to me he is going to roll around like an epileptic seal on the beach whether you make contact with him or not......so you might as well give him reason to.
-
Looking at the posters name and his style, I have no doubt that TCD is tdeans reborn.
-
Hyper Bale is 90% about outstanding pace. Ben Arfa is technically more efficient. The difference is that it is easier to defend against technique than pace. And that is why Bale is probably the better of the 2.
-
Incidentally, had Tiote been standing where Perch was for their first, the ball wouldn't have gone past his head.
-
Twice the talent of Cabaye, Ben Arfa? Really? Nah.... Aye didn't expect hyperbale from our supporters tbh.
-
Fuck sake , with this masturbatory treatment of their scorer, I've just invented a new word . Hyperbale.
-
Bale did so well considering he ruptured his ankle a mere 5 minutes ago.
