We've given up a good number of decent chances in most games if you ask me. The opposition invariably screw them up. We do allow a few chance, but we also do a lot of good defending where inferior players might have been skinned. Probably a mixture of the two, obviously, but I've been impressed by our defence. this is where the difference between "defence" and "defending" comes in as our defence is often doing the defending for the midfield aswell. Agreed, I was going go say 'defending' but then I thought that would be wrong.

If Duff hadn't scored that goal we'd have stayed up. If we're going to list every situation where we might have picked up one more point then we'll be here a while.

Not really, I'm unhappy with that particular deal but happy overall and it appears most are the same. It's pretty easy to separate the two. Fair enough. Caught exaggerating - the shame!

There are a lot of poor teams in the Premiership at the moment... suppose no country has more than 5 - 10 good teams.

I think a lot of people underestimated this league, mainly because they'd never watched it.

I never was unhappy. We've basically got no reason to think he'd be any good, and his short spell here wasn't exactly brilliant. I worry that his dour personality might make him a bit of a negative manager. No evidence for that of course!

Got to agree, but it must be pretty hard to turn down the payday of a lifetime. You never know when you might get a cruciate injury and never be the same again. If I was a footballer I'd be a proper mercenary!
