  1. Have to catch up with you next time Mike, glad you enjoyed. You're a gentleman and a legend for making it over. (PS Let's go Mets)
  2. It's bit like direct free kick shots. On raw stats you would stop shooting, but in a game where a shot is hard to manufacture it might still be preferable to shoot from the free kick. Suppose corners could be similar, even if it's 3% chance to score, you could argue that it's a free 3% so it's worth taking it. Just don't get too excited about it
  3. He might have gone down a bit early, but then again if Rashford hits it clean into the net I'd be saying he needed to anticipate it better. Just unlucky I think.
  4. I'm sure we will. That's why the question of which one to prefer for this season is very easy. Karius all the way.
  5. Think it's quite well known with stats nerds that corners aren't very dangerous in general. They are a free chance to cross, but that's about it. I never really get excited about them, especially with the poor aerial players we have.
  6. I think she sad something mad when the takeover was first done, didn't she? Like win in the league in X years?
  7. Would like to see those over time though, I can't believe it hasn't got a lot worse recently.
  8. Well yeah, but you apply that to any 2 keepers in the league pretty much. FWIW I can understand why he was annoyed, but he has no future here.
  9. Brilliant quotes, aren't they? Unless I'm missing something.
  10. What I would expect her to say, no problem with it.
  11. They considered themselves a superclub and they couldn’t accept taking time to rebuild. They needed instant solutions to massive problems. Casemiro was the most obvious signing to make them instantly better. Hopefully we’ll have a middle ground, more considered building with money to splash when needed.
  12. Karius because Dubs wants out and had no bottle for a contest.
  13. I thought Antony was probably Man Utd's worst player yesterday TBH, I wouldn't say he got in many times. That's why I find Burn hard to assess, he looks odd defensively but I'm not sure he lets that many people past him.
  14. Nah, the spirit is what it intends to do, the letter is what the rulebook says. The rulebook will spell out when someone is offside, which will include what the player is doing (interfering in play etc). I guess I know what you mean, just being pedantic for some reason
  15. Find Burn hard to judge. Even yesterday, it looked like a comedy mismatch against Anthony but he didn't really get into many dangerous positions still. My main gripe with Burn is how bad at heading he is.
  16. Not quite, the decision on whether he's offside is also based on what he's doing. Not just where his foot is.
  17. Not sure if it's his crossing that has been worse or we just don't have anyone who can head it properly. Either way it's been very tough to watch for a while. Obviously teams are wary of the little ball through to Miggy now as well.
  18. What does the letter say that makes it offside?
  19. How we play is more important to me than where we finish TBH, the success will come and I don't really have a target for this season. Want to see us keep the ball better, switch up the attacking a bit and take some chances - that's it really.
  20. Nah it didn't, it was Weghorst behind him IIRC.
  21. Also frustrating that Bruno ran into a challenge he didn't need to make.
  22. Possibly a lot of (some?) people have ST and don’t go themselves, they just held onto it for loyalty points reasons. For normal games they sell/give it to others.
  23. Just completely unnecessary concern at this point in time.
  24. I think the midfield is OK, Bruno just needs to get up to speed.
