Saka‘s pretty impressive, mega mature for 19. Just takes every step up without any trouble. I’d like to see a more involved or mobile striker and we’d look very good.

I don’t think it was really about ‘breaking them down’ exactly. We didn’t even do the pre-work you need to be in a position to break someone down. Positive is that I assume we got to a stage where we decided that a point would be OK and we stuck on that.

I don’t think Rice and Philips was that bad a selection, they just played bad. They didn’t carry the ball or move it like they’re capable of. That said, I would’ve changed them second half. Think Rice made his first tackle in the 92nd minute.

I don’t understand the use of VAR in this tournament. Don’t get why they just don’t check penalties. It’s like they know VAR is bad so they’ve decided not to use it.

I’d be up for disregarding NUFC fixtures completely TBH.

Lukaku’s stats are basically a goal every other game for his whole career. Even more last season. Hasn’t ever had a spell or a club where he’s dropped much below that.
