  1. I wouldn't know about any of this shite if people didn't repost it
  2. We debated this loads yesterday, it seems to me the PL rule is there to account for people who are legally separate but actually have influence. Otherwise there's no point in that clause. You could be legally separate but still have control through informal channels. Obvs this rule is a nightmare of interpretation and (AFAIK) has basically never ever been applied before. So it's still massively open to corruption.
  3. Shocked that Sam isn’t up for a long championship promotion campaign Absolute knacker.
  4. I think he'll end up staying, mainly because of his price and a bit because his style makes him seem like a risk.
  5. They could well go down even with Zaha really. It would be a big risk to go with someone like Lampard when so much squad turnover is needed.
  6. TBH I’d rather just make him number 1 and sell Dubravka. We are the bottom of the table club with no expectations that a young goalkeeper needs.
  7. I dunno, either way he wouldn't go to be 3rd choice.
  8. Well, they would only go for him as a replacement for Ryan.
  9. I do agree with that, I've said many times they should be focusing on protest. I can just (almost) understand that they feel differently, and they aren't just one bloke.
  10. Hurst gets way too much stick like, I don't fully get it. Admittedly I don't understand why he doesn't believe in protest enough, or how he can enjoy going to the game. But I don't think he's that bad. Presumably it was the Trust's decision not to go down the road of becoming a protest group. I don't agree with that decision but I guess it was democratic?
  11. Werner is incredibly German, it's unreal.
  12. Man, I switched it off to watch Chelsea.
  13. I don’t think he really takes him down, Welbeck gets his arm inside and a fraction ahead, then instantly falls down.
  14. Exceptionally soft red card being reviewed at Brighton. Very easy fall by Welbeck, as much as I like him.
  15. Knowing our luck we'll give Bruce a pay rise and a new contract to keep him.
  16. It's broken now though, there can never be another encouraging manager under Ashley. He'll just be a sticking plaster and if he has any ambition he'll eventually be forced to quit. I guess it's possible you might get a young manager who's good and wants a shot in the PL, then he can use us as a stepping stone and not stay through too many transfer windows.
  17. Find him more respectable than your average PFM, seems a decent bloke. Admittedly not based on much.
  18. I guess they might be able to decide for the purposes of their own O&D test, but you’re right it might still end up anti competitive in wider law. I’m not saying I think any of this his above board BTW.
