But surely the test is designed for the PL to make their own judgement? If it was just a simple matter of legal entities it would be extremely easy and there would really be no point in that clause. Realise we might be confusing competition case, arbitration case and original O&D test too.

Like we discussed though, I'm not sure if legal separation is enough. The O&D test seems to allow for people who have shadow control. Obviously we didn't fail the O&D test anyway, so it's a slightly weird argument.

I'm hoping to break the Premier League habit next season, if we're less locked down. It's been a godsend to have it now though.

Aye, I felt it a bit through international breaks. It was very reassuring to have the PL on nearly ever day. I added baseball but the time difference means you can't watch that many games live.

I feel like I’ve got some sympathy with them just because of covid. It is pretty tempting to go to a game, theoretically.

There'll be loads of good players not starting, can't really remember a time like it.

It's really hard to say, but the table could be quite different in theory. Fans motivating you = win = confidence = you win the next game as well.

We’ll be in trouble if we have another window like the Wilson one. We got one good player, one constantly injured and one shite. And that was supposedly a much better window than we expected. We made a very tiny marginal improvement to the overall quality of the team, albeit with Wilson who can win games on his own. But I still think our squad is worse than when we had Rondon and Perez. If we keep Wilson I guess we’ll be fine, but it’s a hell of a risk to depend on him again.

Not quite from what I understand. The test says something about anyone that might have the influence of a director who might not have been declared. Or something like that. I don’t think it’s just legal separation you need. Someone could be legally separate but still have influence that might qualify them. It’s a rule that’s open to biased application as well, of course.

TBF, being a separate legal entity is great but it doesn’t mean the state don’t pull the strings in reality.
