The "spikes" are actually there to make it look like a black shirt has had white stripes taped onto it. Can see it better on some other kits with the same design. Weird, but just another design gimmick I suppose.

Can see him fitting in and doing well at just about all teams from 10th and down.

Youngsters Samuel Adjei, Phil Airey, Ryan Donaldson, Stephen Folan, Jeff Henderson, Tamas Kadar, Greg McDermott and Patrick Nzuzi have been released. New contracts have been offered to Paul Dummett, Bradden Inman, Conor Newton, Michael Richardson and James Tavernier. Airey being released is a bit strange, but if he's deemed not good enough then so be it. Will be interesting to see some of the younger lads step up i.e Campbell and Streete, if it isn't too soon for them.

Would rather get a top quality Left-back and move Santon over. Don't know if Clyne will cut it against top European wingers. But still, need a bigger squad, and if he get's cranky at lack of games, we could always loan him out in jan or something.
