  1. i should have worded it differently. got involved with sackpardew and ashleyout. really thought long and hard about giving up our ST's after Rafa left. was a very emotive conversation. decided not to renew, then bottled it 2 days before the renewal. just dont judge us.
  2. wanker indeed. wasnt having a personal dig at him. just stating that a lot of us thought long and hard about giving ours up for the same reason. but in the end we couldnt. doesnt make us better or worse supporters than each other, or more or less worthy of cup final tickets.
  3. was always a risk giving up your ST as a protest against Ashley. never was a guarantee you'd get it back in case of a takeover. you would have been fighting for them with a load of potential glory hunters. thats why we stayed despite despising Ashley.

alfie harrison not showing the promise we thought he had?
  5. always a dodgy thing to do. he was never gonna give up a final ticket.

    Players in public

Killer was knocking about too somewhere.
  7. the days of "it's a goal!!!!" then you'd have to wait till they went to the ground to see if it was us them that had scored.
  8. think eddie would have been fuming too.
  9. dont agree with that bit. plenty of times he's started shit and had rumblings from the crowd, only to stick at it and get a goal or an assist. its the likes of longstaff and willock i feel lack some resilience mentally.
  10. aye i was expecting 6 or 7 for some reason. also it was crying out for the introduction of Osula on instead of Wilson. would have had their defenders a bit concnerned.
  11. plenty would say the same about us.

  16. not sure my kids would have enjoyed 3v3's. do they do this elswhere in europe?
  17. knowing people who live and work in saudi - not just expats - the country has come on leaps and bounds even in the last couple of years. granted they started from a low base. but things like girls/women's sport would have been unheard off a few years ago. no chance there'll be alcohol at the world cup though, even in hotels.
