They're only a point ahead of Morecambe, who we beat 7-0. Shouldn't even be contemplating a defeat to these. Yeah but Bruce had slipped all of the Morecambe players tainted kebabs before kick off. He won't get away with that twice.

Brucey will add that good old english grit to his game. Well he might as well just sign on when he gets here then as he does need coaching but he does have great vision (not 90 yard passes like Shelvey short intelligent passes in the final third when the team attacks with pace). He would work very well in a counter attacking side with pace up top, he needs runners ahead of him though and he doesn't exactly lack pace.

He isn't going to be what most people expect but his vision and awareness is outstanding. He will create chances in the final 3rd for runners but Bruce will play him as a winger probably expecting him to get to the byline and cutback crosses for Carroll which is not his forte.

We could have broken the record no problem.

FYP He definitely has like. It hasn't been a great year or two for Bale but lets not forget just how good he was during Real's dominance of the Champions League. He was absolutely in the bracket just below Ronaldo and Messi. The form he showed to win the move was up there with anything we've seen from the best players in the history of the PL. He was the complete package. This Bale should of and was brought to replace Ronaldo, Getting him back in the premier League if be stays fit is a massive coup he's talent is massively underrated I agree with this. Bale is an outstanding player. He was probably regarded top 5 in the world when he went to Madrid and he is still only 31 so plenty of mileage left in the tank.

I like Gillespie. I don't think he is a bad keeper at all. It's a win, we were shite but it is what it is.
