Actually, on that note whatever position Slim plays for NOFC, make sure he can take alot of shots, nearly broke my hand with one in warmup, I took some shots of Steve Bowey (ex Bristol City, I think he took their set pieces) and Slims had far more venom in them. Don't think I've experienced such a powerful strike before.

First half I agree as the everytime I looked up all could see was the burning sun, especially once, the ball was about 40 feet in the air I saw the ball for a bit then all I saw was the sun and managed to punch it somehow, 2nd half there wasn't a great deal for me to catch tbh, corners were quite far out. My handling did leave something to be desired however, a big improvement from the first game though in only my 2nd 11 a side game in about 5 years. No trying to make excuses, I know I could have been better but I could do sod all about the goal and saved quite a few shots.

I don't think Perez' injury record is bad enough for me to be compared to him, talent wise maybe. It's not so much that I am injury prone, it's more that I'm accident prone. Leaving my ankle aside I have about 5 new scars/wounds on my right hand from the last few weeks, what I can't understand is why I have none on my left.
