Fernandez and Lewis 100% have to start against Burnley. Both were for the most part outstanding tonight. Clark should never play for us again. Even before his 2 mistakes he looked like he was bricking it. He's not up to it and should be shipped out in January.

Yup. May be a bit of a stretch, especially if he'd prefer to stay in management but it may be something that interests him at the same time. It wouldn't surprise me if they at least made some kind of approach should be leave Everton.

It's kind of ironic that at the rate things are going, Rafa could likely be available before we play Burnley. I wonder if they'd consider him as a potential candidate? Personally I'd prefer Emenalo at this point but it's food for thought I suppose.

The further away that this flapjack-gobbed egomaniac is from this club the better. Anywhere in Europe is still a bit too close for comfort to be quite honest

Ritchie is at fault for the majority of goals we concede and I think every opposing team is aware of that. We concede so many from our left because he's got zero awareness of what is going on around him, or staying with who he's meant to be marking. Barring that he rarely wins the ball back when they're on the edge of the area, but just stands there like Dummett or Clark would. Lewis hasn't been great but I think by now he deserves a chance to show what he could do under Howe's management until January.

Would be nice to see clubs revert back to a new home kit every 2 seasons. I think it gives them more of an identity and it would be ideal for families not having to fork out £60+ every single season.

It comes to something when even TalkSport have ranked our badge as the best in the Premier League Personally I think the current one is our best one and should not be changed. As has been said it looks the part - elite. It stands out.

Got to agree with this in all honesty. With January just over a month away, ideally we could get at least a few targets sorted before the window opens instead of scrambling around and wasting valuable time throughout the month. With the fixtures we have in January and February I think it's vital we get some players in ahead of time as those games are very much winnable.

I think we'll be fine, especially if we can bring some players in during January. We should have won quite comfortably yesterday if not for Darlow's mistakes and I fancy our chances at home to Norwich and Burnley. On paper it doesn't look great for us but just look at the results around us yesterday. After a couple more weeks of instilling discipline back into the defense I feel confident we'll start picking up a couple of unexpected wins before January.

I think they'll pick up in the new year. Rafa is fighting an uphill battle though regardless of how well he does there. Some of their fans have said themselves he could get them top 4 and they wouldn't accept him.

Overall I'm genuinely not too worried. I think we'll be in a much healthier position by the end of the January window if we continue to play like we did today (going forward at least). The sooner we bin off Ritchie, Clark and Darlow the better. I think even by Christmas we could have an extra 10-12 points on the board. Not everything will be as bad as it looks on paper. If Watford, who we dominated under Bruce, can beat Man Utd 4-1 then we can pick up a few wins.

Any idea why there are no long sleeved shirts this season? Seems a bit of an odd call.

Yeah, it comes across like he's just throwing stuff at the wall to be honest. He threw out the end of this week in his last tweet about it so it's probably best to not take any notice, unless it's miraculously confirmed tomorrow having been completed over the weekend.

He has more than 20k followers on there if that counts for anything.

Everything from yesterday alone has actually made me warm to him quite a bit. The insane work ethic, the great man-management, his enthusiasm for the game, his respect for the fanbase all comes across as very Keegan-esque. I just really hope his 16 months out of management has helped him better his game and we're getting the new and improved Eddie Howe who can actually take us to the next level. He wasn't anywhere near my first choice and I was initially highly critical of him but I'd love to be proven wrong and see us become the club we want to be under his management.

Shelvey in his long johns darting out of bed when Howe smashes the bin lids together.

Couldn't agree more. I hate the italics which were put up to match the Sports Direct stuff. Looks horrible.
