You wouldn't have read that view here back in the day when I first joined up. Dyer lamped in some f***ing nightclub was one of the more popular threads from what I can remember. He was an utter prick mind, but also a key player in Bobby Robson's success here. It's a shame his injuries got worse during his later years here because he was a real difference maker when he managed to get on the pitch for a while. Not having the right person in charge of him would have only taken that so far though. That goal he scored away at Lisbon was one of my favourites, epic pace.

Just because we played well 1st half doesn't justify letting them go 3-0 up 2nd half. As has been said, 6 losses in a row to a team as shit as Sunderland, and we've only scored 1 goal against them in the last 2 years which is even worse.
