Do you Mbemba, The 54th night of the summer, You signed for us, Chancel Mbemba, Yet nobody here knows your age

My jaw just fucking dropped for a minute reading that tweet

Dummett would be better of as cover for the middle of the defense anyway tbh. I'd much rather him be in line than Williamson.
-
Charnley trying to handle 2 deals at once
-
Serves the cunt right for diving in the way he did.
-
He's still booting it long in most situations, really need him replaced not just from a defensive POV but also from our gameplan in getting on the ball more. Tuned in at half time and I wasn't surprised in the slightest that his shite positioning caused us to concede, again.
-
Would hope so.

at anyone who bought into Ashley's interview
-
Still a load of bollocks. Nothing will change.

It's going to be so depressing having this stupid cunt in charge. I think I'm done.

The most frustrating thing about Ashley is he seems clueless as well as deeply cynical. If you were a fat sportswear magnate who bought a football club you didn't care about for the purposes of free advertising and selling lots of plastic Wonga shirts to teenagers...what would you do? Probably appoint an experienced, local DoF and ambitious, positive manager. That would be the easiest, cheapest way for Ashley to get some of the fans off his back and get on with the important work of selling them trainers and shirts. You could maintain the same minimal investment on players, Ligue 1 bargain buys and sell-on transfer policy and let a competent manager keep things effective on the pitch (the model being Southampton). Some might complain, but most would be placated by decent football on a Saturday and decent results. But you really could see him appointing Carver. Everyone knows he doesn't give a damn about the club itself, but it's like he goes out of his way to damage his investment. Hiring a good manager would do wonders for his image, mostly because a lot of our fanbase as much as I hate to say it, are fickle as fuck. Still though, it's getting results that counts. The problem is with the philosophy Ashley has in place, I don't think we'd have a good manager in place for long because he'd be off for pastures new as well once we'd had a good season, much like what happened with the likes of Southampton and Swansea. It's a never-ending nightmare scenario to have him say he'll be here until we win something, because it's his fault in the first place that we're even further away from that than we were under Shepherd and the Halls. As long as he continues to employ his 'yes men' he'll be a massive failure here.

It's gonna be hilarious to see the reaction of those willing to give him a chance when he goes and gives Carver the job.

Would tell him to go and fuck a wasps nest but even wasps don't deserve that smarmy cunt Pardew fucking up their club

Genuinely start showing ambition. He's seen on numerous occasions now where spending the bare minimum will get him. Changes are needed from the top down, and continuing to surround himself with inexperienced fuckwits isn't going to get us anywhere near winning something. First, spend whatever it takes to get the absolute best manager available to us, someone ambitious and tactically competent who knows how to motivate his players and isn't afraid to have a go at teams instead of talking them up in fear. We've been stuck with that king of negative shit for a decade now, dating back to Sourness. Second, wipe the coaching staff pool clean and let the new manager bring his own people in. Our fitness levels and set-pieces in particular have been more appalling than ever this season. Next, the recruitment policy 100% HAS to change. If we weren't always buying cheap shite, or selling our best players off as soon as an offer comes in then we'd be up fighting for a place in Europe on the last day of the season, not fighting off Hull and Sunderland to survive relegation. You continue to play with fire and you'll get burned eventually. This. I expect nothing else. Ashley is a bastard liar, out to save his own horrid fat warty skin in light of protests. Believe nothing...

it beggars belief, it really does.

Epic performance from the guy today, much deserved as well. I couldn't be happier for the bloke.

Souness needs to shut the fuck up, he's so full of shit you could probably smell it on his breath. "It's a north-east thing, they demand change very quickly." It's not surprising when we had cunts like him, Allardyce and Pardew in charge ffs.

He went on telly to save face, nothing more.
