  1. They tried but Enrique wouldn't come back.
  2. HA typical, another stupid tight arse decision backfires on the club again. As soon as Krul was crocked, they should have put the feelers out for a loan keeper in January. When will they learn.

It's not something I've ever thought about, I mean why on earth would you go near a dogs arse? Tight.

    Classy Sunlun fans.
  6. Thinking about it, im not sure how the club can move forward when the owner has come out and said he regrets buying it...its dead in the water.
  7. It reads as if Newcastle has been emptying his pockets but the reality of it is, its all his own piss poor decision making that cost him money. Ashley is obviously feeling the media heat so has started making public statements in his defence. Keep the pressure on fat man, keep it right up. I feel Newcastle United is now at a massive cross roads, we either stay up and build or the most likely scenario is us going down and not returning for a long time as the club struggles with his reckless half arsed ownership in the championship.
  8. fantastic! He'll be eating cold baked beans out of can with his bare hands next.
  9. Pardew moaning about Adebeyour being a striker that needs service so he hauled him off for someone who can run about a bit. Work on getting him some service then you fucking mong. Why sign him if you had no plan on getting him in and using him properly.
  10. Jesus man. He is either protecting an English manager or is completely dense. You watch pardew teams regularly abd you get to see the short falls of his teams and tactics. Custis must just watch a recoded motd and fast forward to goals.
  11. Haha the realisation has truely set in.

How was that a similar situation to what McClaren walked into? He replaced John Carver/Alan Pardew Yeah, Macca didn't inherit a team that had nearly won the title

My tune won't change. SMc was a minor symptom of the disease this club is fighting and, whether we're relegated or not, he'll never be the sole reason we're down. KD had a far more damaging effect on NUFC given the respective circumstances. Aye so damaging in fact that we were finishing and 4th and 3rd a few seasons later. Including players like Solano, Speed, Shay and Dabizas that he signed, by the way. Dalglish's team were aging and on the way down. He had one bad season in which we finished 13th, beat Barcelona and reached a cup final. McClaren has quite possibly gotten us relegated with his cowardice and ineptitude. Spectacular lack of recognition of the fact that we're virtually two completely different football clubs in the interim period between KD & SMc managing the first team. The club KD was working for wanted to compete, wanted to win things, was entirely set up for success etc. You've noted four players he signed (Dabiza's is questionable btw, but you can claim him as a good signing if you like), I can name many more, without even thinking about it, who were either utter toss, finished or very clearly signed using a 'jobs for the boys' policy: Hamilton Serrant Paul Dalglish (wonder what attracted him to this young superstar?) Andersson Perez Guivarch Rush Barnes Pearce Pinas There was discussion at the time of needing to bolster the squad. Not sure how much 'bolstering' we'd have needed if he hadn't jettisoned Beresford, Tino, Clark, Ginola, Elliott etc. Not to mention that f***ing mumbling he'd do after every game in front of the camera's. He was a disaster of an appointment. Arrrghhh my eyes!

We still have a game in hand on Norwich and we still have to play them both. The next two games will make or break the season, yes we're 19th and struggling but the Benitez factor adds to our chances iyam. Sunday is massive, biggest game we've played since 2009 and biggest derby since THAT playoff. I still think we can do this, I notice a lot of negativity creeping in since the Leicester game last night but most of us said we'd take a narrow loss with improved performance and that's what we got. Yes it was disappointing not getting anything from the match after the way it played out but Leicester are a good side this year and they'll do that to better teams than us. The plan was always consolidate and progress, last night was consolidation, Sunday HAS to be progress, I still have faith in this squad under Benitez and I'm at a 6 right now, we've got a massive chance to put some daylight between us and the other 2 in the next 2 matches, we're only 1 point behind not 3 or 6 although some people seem to feel that way. I'll review my score after Sunday, but right now there's no need for us to panic, in Rafa we trust. IM not negative, ive been pretty much hovering between 7,8 and 9 all season. The performance last night was a step forward and Benny will have a full week of training to work on something before our next match. Id like to think we can get the 3 points this weekend but the mackems have a way of conjuring up points in a relegation run in.

How can it be 50:50 to go down or stay up when we are cut a drift, in a mini relegation league of our own with Sunderland and Norwich. We are already 2nd bottom and cant score goals. Most of the season has now been played and we have injuries. To me it suggests we are more than likely to get relegated than stay up.
