That makes way much too sense to actually happen. Even if I thought there was a remote chance that they would reinvest the fee received, I doubt there would be that much money available to buy two players. This is how they work. We got 16million for him. Of that 16 million, there would be a loyalty fee payable to Cabs no doubt, maybe agent fees too, so maybe we can drop it down by a couple of million when they factor in other costs involved in the sale for us. Say we agree a deal of 10 million (may be a little low) for cabella in the summer, the signing on fee and agents and other cost could push that close the the 14 million net spend we had available to us ! This is how they do business, we have to work with the money the club generates, so they will at best replace Cabs in the squad with one player, hopefully that player will be of a equivalent or better level. Not forgetting any new players wages must come out of that fee as well. Ashley always includes the wages on his assets. Why hasn't that happened since we've been back in the Premier League though? Sold players for around £60m and brought players in for around £60m, are we paying them £0 in wages? Im sure when Sissoko came in, with Yanga-Mbiwa and Gouffran the club stated and inflated price which confused everyone then it became clear the club was quoting a figure including wages and not just the transfer fees in total. I cant be arsed to look it up.

I think he'll start regularly in the league, freeing up other mids for the champions league games coming up.

Why?

Id rather have Charlie Brown.

he doesn't have the skill to play in PSG, we are a TOP TEAM in Europe. YOU ARE A LIAR AND A MEMBER OF THE REBEL ALLIANCE As a member of the rebel alliance, do you have to be pay an annual fee to be part of this rebel alliance...Do you get first pick of the x-wings?

I do not want to see Pardy globes.

My answer is f*** off tbh Why you insult us ? show respect. I will only kneel before Zod, sorry.

What do you mean "within their grasp" though? They've done well so far, nobody could deny that. But would they put themselves into massive debt to go from 10th to 4th? I just think sometimes how brilliant other clubs are is massively exaggerated on here. But meh. The summer after we finished 5th we should have took a gamble, spent 30 million at least. We bought Anita then forced next summer signings in early as things got so bad. That cost us but we've got back in the position to challenge again and the summer coming up is where we should spend at least 30 million again. Will we learn from our last mistake? I hope so. No, its not going to happen, dont get your hopes up.

Same as Everton and they have a tight budget ...hey ho!

Sadly that's the case with a lot of viewpoints. Maybe we should all come and join you in La La Land with Tinky Winky and Po, eh Ian? Ashley could turn up in the middle of the night with JFK and spit roast your Mrs and you'd come on here to say it could've been worse, Llambias could've been there too. f***ing hell, we get that people have differing views but to take them to the extreme every time just makes you look like you're on a wind up/craving attention. It's bordering on mental this like lads... what have I said to make you think I believe everything's great? Or that I love either Ashley or JFK? It's actually like my posts exist in a parallel universe where everybody has a frontal lobotomy before being allowed to read. Everything that's not an outpouring of hate is put down as 'being in la-la land'. Genuinely worrying that this is how people form opinions. Whatever the scenario, whatever the general temperament and whatever the downside you consistently seek to spin it into a positive Ian. That's great but you're constant desire to turn s*** news, s*** decisions and s*** management into acceptance of our overall position in the big wide world of football is f***ing nauseating. I'm a NUFC fan who wants my team to compete on every single level, who wont accept not trying in cups, who wont accept anything other than maximum effort to achieve the highest place finish possible with the squad available to us and who absolutely detests being told that we can't compete or we can't match other clubs who are 'bigger'. f*** that, what's the point? This is a simple game of best 11 Vs best 11 and with the right set up and application, we can give any team in the world a game. Do you think we were the biggest club in the world when KK arrived the first time? We were on the cusp of extinction and within a few short years we were an absolute powerhouse, all driven along by total commitment and effort from those running the club. I hang on to that feel good factor not because we nearly won a title but because everyone believed that we could achieve great things. Don't make the mistake of thinking football has changed which locks NUFC out. It doesn't. We've changed. We've allowed ourselves to float along to virtual non-existence. I don't ever recall people crying because AC Milan might want one of our stars. I remember laughing at s*** like that because we believed in the bigger picture, in the general direction of the club. I don't see why we can't achieve this now if the current owner applied himself and gave the football club and it's fans something to shout about. You continue to accept the current situation if you wish, but I'll continue to demand better if it's all the same to you. Amen brother. I seem to remember KK telling Ginola he couldn't go to Barceonla and was staying put at NUFC. Then KK left

Loan signing

Nobody is wound up about him going, it wasn't unexpected, Pardew has been dropping hints for the last couple of seasons. Its what happens next with the money, everyone knows it wont be reinvested straight away and its not going to be reinvested into building something that can challenge for a cup or a european spot. Its about status qou. Aslong as the club are not in any danger of relegation then nothing will happen.
-
I dont think people are suprised its just we all know that money 19/20 million wont be reinvested straight away and the season is pretty much written off now...Ashley only needs Pardew to put another 4 pts on the table and the club is safe for another season to be used as an advertising hoarding for Sports Direct.

Maybe just a ploy to make other teams hurry up and sell. Still bad crack tho when we need 2 strikes, a midfielder and a winger.
-
Not in pardews world, but HBA and Marveaux give nothing defensively so they wont start.
-
Nothing but a fancy advertisng space for Sports Direct....A fate worse than death.

Wolves or Sheff Eed. , sleeping giants.

Spurs just boughthim not so long back?

The only thing that gives me hope is the sudden interest in loaning players. It's proper straw grasping, but still. Thats my only hope as well.

Someone was always going to break it eventually. Its not even been done yet man. The fat Ginger Hoth Wamper has not been at it this season.
