Wolves fans: "The Black Country's ours, the Black Country's ours, fuck off to Birmingham, the Black Country's ours" That Wolves - Albion ones is the most complex "derby" of all of them. Half the Ollbeeyun support hate us most, and don't give a shit about Wolves, and the other half are the other way around.

I think he'd definitely fit in with the way you play, and I can see that you might be that place he's been looking for where he'll get the arm around the shoulder he needs to rediscover his best form. You should definitely make the deal permanent.

I do n all but if I was a Villa fan I wouldn't. It's not our shirt, anyway. http://www.birminghammail.net/news/top-stories/2011/05/05/revealed-full-story-behind-aston-villa-kit-astrophe-97319-28638135/

Apparently, the Villa one up there is not the final shirt. the club have said it is just a prototype and not the final version.
-
It's nowhere near as bad as this season's monstrosity, but why the checks? Why not just solid fucking colour? Nike's kits in the four years we've had them - first two years, brilliant, second two years, gash.
-
Call me a traditionalist, but Newcastle are supposed to play in black and white stripes, and that doesn't look like black and white stripes to me. I hate all these new wanky fucking kits. It's like our new one with fucking checks in it. What's wrong with the actual, proper colours?

Although he did manage to spell "have" incorrectly. Young people today. Honestly, at least fucking try
-
Whichever media it is in - printed press, television, radio, Twitter, take your pick - one thing is consistent, and that is that Piers Morgan is an oily, talentless, repulsive waste of fucking skin.
-
Don't forget, this is Stephen Ireland, he'll get "injured" or ill at the drop of a hat. Whilst with us he ruled himself out on more than one occasion with "a virus", and on the second occasion, was seen out on the piss that very same evening.
-
I bet "Wazza"'s lawyer is well impressed by him announcing it on the Twittertron.
-
He'll go to Wigan or Bolton or somewhere like that.

I was one of the Yes voters, I can't believe there was someone else who went that way.

Where do you get that from, the wages bit? To be honest, it wasn't laughing at you for taking him, it was mainly relief he was out of the club, the mopey arsed mental.
-
There's a thread on RTG where they're going mental about Villa, purely based on the fact that there's a thread on Villasquawk, where they're talking about relegation possibilities, and some of them were saying last week that Sunderland were looking in a very tricky situation. This, to the posters on that RTG thread, is cause for much ridicule and laughter - despite being EXACTLY what pretty much every one of them was starting a new thread to say themselves last week. I've met plenty of Sunderland fans in my time and, to be quite honest, always found them to be a knowledgeable and likeable enough lot, but I can not believe what a massive, massive mong magnet that RTG place is.
-
Oh, FFS, does that mean that the fucking mentalist is coming back?
-
He obviously has a sharp mind in one way or another

Anyone addressing people as "tweeps" on Twitter should be kicked to the kerb like a filthy dog, then stoned to death.

Ayresome Park used to be a nasty, intimidating place to go to. There's probably no better illustration of how English grounds (and football) have changed than comparing a trip there to Boro's current ground, which is about as intimidating as a trip to Homebase on a non 10 percent day Friday.
-
That sounds like a story you need to expand on!
-
South Yorkshire police also used to render any trip to Sheffield grounds an unpleasant experience. Deliberately barging into you, trying to provoke stuff, arseholes. West Midlands police were the same, too.
-
Selhurst Park, despite being the place I saw the best goal I've ever seen scored "in the flesh", is possibly my least favourite ground ever. Horrible air of plasticity and desperation about the place, and it was a cunt to get to, even when i was living in London at the time.
-
Aston is a very, very deprived area, and one I would take strenuous moves to avoid frequenting, yet Villa Park is in the grounds of a Jacobean stately home. It's a paradox. Or something.

I find that these days the worst away trips tend to be those for which the host club is desperate to get people in through the door, so make cheap tickets available. To that end, for us, Wigan and Blackburn away are always absolute cunt magnets. To be honest, one of my worst ever away experiences was Newcastle in about 1988. Got chased across the city centre, my mate's sister got a brick put in her face at point blank range by some cunt, and three of us got arrested later on for absolutely no reason. A poor day. It was just one of those "when everything goes wrong ..." trips. Incidentally, I like football grounds in shit areas. That's the way it was supposed to be back in the day where clubs were formed in working class areas, which have frequently declined even more over time. When I was a youngster, I remember going to the 1985 LC semi final away leg at Oxford United (which incidentally, and back to the topic, was the single most depressing away experience of my entire life) and being gobsmacked at what a nice, middle class area the ground was in.

David Tennant is a fucking terrible actor, sadly convinced he's Olivier reincarnated.

They don't need a 'keeper anymore. Yeah, they do. Szczesny is good enough. No he is not, and the very fact that you're suggesting he might be says all you need to know about Arsenal these days (obv, I'm not picking on you). It's rare that a side wins the title without a really good goalkeeper. Szcesny is borderline acceptable at the very, very best. In fact, that's being optimistic. I saw everything i needed to know about Arsenal and Man United in the two matches we played against them at our place this season. Against Man United, we largely bossed the game, were winning two nil with less than ten minutes to go, and still managed to only get a point. Against Arsenal, we were utter, utter turd from start to finish, and we may have lost, but the fact they let us score twice said everything about their weaknesses, and I could never in a million years have imagined Arsenal coming back against us like Man United did. I like Wenger in lots of ways, I don't really care too much about the fact he's a curmudgeonly old cunt who will tell you black is white if it suits his argument, but he's dug himself into a gigantic hole of stubborness from which he refuses to emerge, where the entire football world - including the vacuous fuckwits whose 'investment' in the game goes no further than wearing a replica shirt to watch the game on Sky in the pub on a Sunday afternoon - can see what is wrong with Arsenal, but he refuses to admit it, because, well, he just can't. it is all so predictable that we all know exactly what Arsenal's season will be like next year if he doesn't make some big changes. Still, nice football. EDIT - sorry, confused you with Fabregash, the Gooner on here, hence reference to "you", but the point stands.
