Chelsea? "Major European club"? He isn't that good, I'd say Everton are his level. Major European club = Tottenham. Although, if it were Spurs, surely it'd say "the MOST MAJOR European club". Poor the ITKs.
-
I know nothing about Makoun, but he can't be any worse than Reo-Coker. NRC's contract is up this summer and he's been demanding 60k a week to stay on. What a fucking joker.
-
I have to disagree. Holloway was amusing at first, but has become more and more of a prick. His rant about resigning if he got fined for fielding a weakened side was pathetic, his strop about 'Premier League you're having a laugh' was even worse, and his sucking of Liverpool's cock all this week in the run up to tonight's game was really cringemaking Sorry, but I think he's a cock end who has started to believe his own publicity. *folds arms*

They're going to lump it long at Zigic, which is what the flukey knuckledraggers did against us in the last round.

FUCKING BEAUTY!

This is most, most depressing. I'm fucking well through with teams in claret and blue these days. Even the kitstealers are conspiring to make me unhappy.

10-1? Mad result, I hope Houllier (and think he will have) has the balls to play Gardner, what i've been hearing (today especially) he's proper mint. Are you worried by the reports of interest from Manure and Liverpool or is it just a general 'Good young player, big clubs interested' report? Edit: Also, what about the self-styled next "next Fabregas" Vidal, heard he'd called it himself is he any good? Never heard of this Vidal kid until last night, he's only 16, I believe. Gary Gardner is very promising, he's the brother of Craig Gardner, incidentally. I'd not heard anything of other clubs interested, he's been out for a fair while having done his cruciate, but he's one of a very promising bunch of kids. I think Ciaran Clark, Gardner and Albrighton are the best bets. In fact, I remember saying on here about two years ago that Albrighton was going to be quality and getting laughed at. Then he had a long term injury, and got ignored by O'Neill. In fact, had MON still been here, he'd be in the reserves still.

Yes, but 10-1?

http://www.arsenal.com/match-menu/3305232/reserves/aston-villa-res-v-arsenal-res?tab=report Gawd bless our kids. Gary Gardner. You'll be hearing a lot about him in the future. He's the best of the lot - better than Albrighton, Bannan and the ones with first team experience - but he's been out with a cruciate for a while.

Oh dear That Ronnie Radford clip is going to get aired even more than usual now.
-
I wrote a haiku about Steve Sidwell leaving Goodbye, Ginger one I'm so happy you are gone Useless waste of skin.
-
Mind you, Sidwell on the way out, thereby immeasurably weakening another relegation rival.
-
I don't get it though. The reason why Carew usually wants to move to another club is because he has shagged all the shagable broads in that city. Maybe he doesn't know West Brom is close to Villa? Someone should tell him asap.. Indeed. Clearly someone's told him Smethwick and Sandwell are dripping with klunge.
-
John Carew in talks with Albion. He's a fucking lazy, uninterested, unprofessional wanker of late, but I still get slightly worried about selling him to our goal shy local relegation rivals.
-
Of course it is. He's a very promising player, but 30 million pounds is a huge amount of money for a player with so little top flight experience. This isn't just about Ashley or Newcastle, every single chairman in the league - bar one or possibly two - would think very, very seriously about that sort of cash.
-
I thought this was interesting. From Tim Abraham, Villa correspondent for the Express and Star (yam yam rag), on that Twittersphere thing.
-
I love how nobody took any notice of me when I mentioned this six hours previously. Twats. Yeah they did. That article merely 'confirms' it. The article is by legend in his own lifetime, Alan "Nicko from that shit Blackburn forum" Nixon, so he probably stumbled upon said story on here in the first place.
-
Why? He's a Villa fan, and TalkSport is the home of laddish over the topness.
-
I swear to god, this sport will fucking kill me. I'm still shaking. I'm a 42 year old man. It's not right.
-
Ah fuck, I can't watch this. I'm turning it off. I'l only doom ourselves.
-
Maybe Houllier wants to bring in his own men,I would be surprised if Downing was sold but as the saying goes "everyone has a price" and Villa have 2 good wingers in Young and Albrighton to fall back on. What a load of bollocks. Downing has been our best player this season. So, somehow, we're going to sell him - to Sunderland - for about what we paid for him?
-
Think you might win this if you keep up the intensity. They look like they are wilting. No, the ref is going to send at least one of our players off. I'm just impressed we've found a pair of bollocks for the first time in weeks.
-
Villa - 7 fouls, 6 bookings. Essien - 100 fouls, 0 bookings.
-
We're passing the ball and keeping possession quite nicely, but we're so desperately short of punch up front. This referee is a nightmare. He's going to send someone off soon enough.
-
I hope O'Neill gets his dream job this time.
