Jesus, there's no way I am lasting 90 minutes of this.
-
Tim Howard going on about how excited he is by Philogene, who hasn't been seen in a Birmingham postcode for about 3 years.
-
He looks like a character out of Superbad.
-
I decided to watch all of this but it hasn't even started and i keep doing the head nodding forward thing.
-
THE BLESSED UNAI IS SPEAKING I love him so much. I want him to adopt me.
-
It's a pre season amble-around. We're starting with Philogene, who spent last season at Cardiff. Although *conspiracy face* I note Coutinho not anywhere to be seen despite being there with them.
-
it’d be their own fault, they’ve known about the Zaha situation for ages.
-
Mbappé is obviously a great player, but the guy is fucking toxic.
-
Absolutely this. He's a fucking circus of his own making.
-
That's good news, I hope they have at least another season as an absolute clown show.

The difference for us is the manager, it's not just about signings, it's what he has done with those already here. I know I keep going on about this, but I can't think of one single player Gerrard improved. With the exception of Bailey, Emery improved every single one of them. Under Gerrard, the same players who have been excellent later in the season were absolutely awful. McGInn is a good example of that. Konsa and Mings were two more - we had an absolute nightmare at home to Leicester (under Emery) and conceded 4. Emery was incandescent with rage, so what happens next with those 2? We only concede 8 goals in the final 15 matches of the season. Try as I might, I can't ever imagine Gerrard making that improvement.

There's no point any team worrying about other teams, when it comes down to it. Just focus on winning as many matches as you can.

Brighton are the best run club ever, what they've done is incredible. Esp when you consider they went years without a ground, constantly hovering on the brink of extinction. My only concern with their scouting and selling thing is how many years they could withstand it not working, and if that was the case, what they'd fall back on. I also remember almost the exact same thing being said about Southampton. I am probably overplaying it though.

You're certainly not, you're as out of the closet as Julian Clary when it comes to Villa love and you know it. #UTV

I would. He's better at his age than Grealish was at the same age.
-
Grealish + Chukwuemeka = £120m which can be assigned in one go if required to any season. Selling home grown for decent money absolutely is FFP gold dust.

I agree with this although I don't think the route is that different. Appoint a very good manager Put in a modern sporting structure behind the scenes to support him Invest in youth (we're a fair bit ahead on this, but you're ahead in the wider picture by at least a season) Sign good players Coach them well Someone has to shake things up. Us, you, Brighton, it all adds to breaking the crushing boredom of an oligopoly which the PL risks becoming.
-
If it helps, I'm not in the closet.

It is absolutely brilliant, for a low profile non-glamour club like Burnley, they do fantastic social media.
-
Without wanting to sound melodramatic, this is in a way an important signing for the premier league. Turning down insane tax free Saudi money.
-
We've now given Leverkusen about £75m in three years so this one had better be decent.
-
I didn't know his hair was that long. Oh, no, he's the one in the car.
-
He reminds me of Nigel Reo-Coker. Runs a lot, not much else.

What do people see in Connor Gallagher?
