I definitely want to win both games. It's just amusing that a lot of Sunderland fans will hope we lose even though our winning would help them.

NUFC could do Sunderland a favour by winning our next two games against Fulham and Crystal Palace. If we lost them it would pile the pressure on for the other teams at the bottom.

Not this season we haven't. We have won more games without him. I'd love Ben Arfa to be as good as some people on here think he is. He seems massively more popular on here than he is with the fans I sit around in the Gallowgate.

Difference being, Shola's span almost 15 years, whereas Ben Arfa's can be taken from one match. The point still stands though. They are highlights videos. Ben Arfa is far from perfect. I'd happily sell Ben Arfa if we got Clément Grenier or Rémy Cabella instead. I'd be surprised if those two didn't put in more consistent performances than Ben Arfa does. I really can't see Liverpool or the like coming in for Ben Arfa. He's more likely to end up in Turkey or Russia.

The media have put out plenty of stories contradicting themselves about whether there is an agreed fee or not. Like it says though, it's up to Rémy what he decides to do.

I'll have concerns if he plays until the end of the season but doesn't score (or at least have plenty of decent shots on target). I wouldn't want NUFC to spend a decent portion of it's limited transfer budget on a striker who doesn't regularly score goals. If Remy leaves we absolutely must get strikers who regularly score goals. Hopefully de Jong will get goals once he's fully up to speed.

What a surprise, the FA burst into action when someone connected to Newcastle United does something wrong. Really ?. I mean really. You really think it's because it's us and not what Pardew did.......really ? No. As I said he has done wrong and will no doubt get a heavy punishment. The FA do fuck all when NUFC have been wronged. See Remy getting banned and the Norwich player's ban been overturned. See the terrible foul by the Wigan player on Haidara and the FA saying they can't do anything about it. It's a bit rich coming from Savage.

I'd like a striker who can hold the ball up AND score goals. Did he have a shot today? I can only think of the Debuchy shot which he tried to divert (to be fair to de Jong it was a very difficult chance). Hopefully de Jong is just rusty.

I'm sure the media will demand Pardew gets a huge punishment. I very much doubt Mike Ashley will want to sack Pardew over it. Ashley was probably amused by it. Jose Mourinho tried to gouge the eye of the Barcelona manager in 2011. How long was his punishment for that?
