Nah, full on Machiavellian mode for me. Pardew out by any means necessary and losing games hand over fist will, eventually, achieve it. Not particularly proud or happy about it but we need this c*** out asap. Getting Pardew out is the endgame, the sooner it happens the better for all concerned. I've been hoping for losses a long time in the league. Just feel like losing or winning this isn't really affecting his position, mongs will just swept the loss under the carpet so might as well win. Yeah, nobody will care about this game win or lose so we might as well win. If anything, Ashley will probably give Pardew a bonus if we crash out.

We're never going to win 5-0 again, are we?

He'd die sooner. Only reason I'd have him over Pardew. Also, please stop bumping this thread. It terrifies me.
-
In a perverse way I wish they'd actually just get it over with and change the name to Sports Direct United so we can just formally disown it.
-
Honestly this board is probably the only nufc related thing I still care about
-
It's not as if losing would have put Pardew's job in jeopardy or anything

A club is its fans and their culture. What do the name and crest matter when the entity no longer represents these things, or even actively seeks to destroy them?
-
Nah, we're getting this club back soon. When and how? I don't think Pardew is leaving any time soon, and even if he does, Ashley will find another way to make us miserable.
-
I used to laugh at FC United of Manchester, and I still think it was ridiculous, but I'm starting to feel like something similar is the only recourse for us now. The club as it exists is nothing to me.
-
He'll be here for fucking decades. Will outlast all of our interest in this club.
-
Honestly at this point I'm confident that Ashley owns the club purely to make the fans as miserable as possible to get back at us for wanting him out after Keegan walked. nufc is just a tiny part of his larger business empire and he can afford to run the club to the ground for purely vindictive reasons. If anything the protests against Pardew probably made him want to sack him even less. Making the Geordies angry is exactly what he wants from a manager.

I wouldn't judge any player based on five games under normal circumstances, never mind when they're playing for Alan Pardew.
-
Honestly I love the guy and I'd love for him to be decent again. God knows it's just about the only thing that saves us from relegation.
-
No combination of results will ever lead to his sacking anyway. Whatever.

He's here forever. He will stay with us all the way down to league 2.
