  1. Agree with everything said in this post, except maybe the shit storm bit. by shit storm I mean managerial changes, club sales, player merry-go-rounds and mass forum discussions
  2. Taylor says Magpies boss is 'at best disrespectful, at worst deeply offensive' Published Date: 31 January 2009 Joe Kinnear's mispronunciation of Charles N'Zogbia's name is "at best disrespectful and at worst deeply offensive", according to Professional Footballers' Association chief executive Gordon Taylor. In a television interview earlier this week, Kinnear referred to the Frenchman as 'insomnia', sparking a row between the Newcastle manager and his player. N'Zogbia released a statement saying he would not play for the Magpies again under Kinnear, but the former Wimbledon boss retaliated by saying the argument was a "desperate attempt to engineer a move away from Newcastle United". Taylor has now waded into the clash between the Newcastle pair. In a statement, the players' chief said: "Why should we not expect Charles N'Zogbia to be upset when his own manager cannot even remember his correct name in public but chooses to say 'insomnia'? "Respect runs two ways. "This is at best disrespectful and at worst deeply offensive, especially as insomnia is as difficult to pronounce as N'Zogbia. It's not good when people who should cannot remember your name. "Ask Graham Taylor how he feels when he gets called Gordon Taylor. We are our name. "The word (insomnia) gives the media a stick with which to beat the lad." He needs to shut the fuck up and use common sense. What a tit.

    The Mackems Game

I've got a feeling we won't start playing xisco until after the window shuts, because as soon as he plays 10 games for us, we owe his ex club about £2.5m for appearances. So until no-one comes in for him this January, he won't play. Stupid idea but oh well. I'm looking forward to seeing the lad play. You don't play for the spanish u-21 team if you're a mug, I kinda feel sorry for the lad but I'm sure the clause situation has been explained to him long ago.
  4. the chron said hes sorting out his medical and contract today, in the toon i think
  5. even though i don't want to, i'm backing everyone involved with nufc until the end of the season. we all know about the ins and outs of where we are and why but we all need to put it to one side until we're safe. hopefully if we get through the season alive, THEN the shit storm can truly begin still, a long long way to go until we're safe...
  6. Le shagged dog. Its funny because JFK actually said in'sonia and not insomnia...so the whole thing is even more ridiculous
  7. if we got a player included in the deal that'd be perfect for us, hope we do
  8. really hoping we get at least one more after taylor, I'd consider it a good window if we did, all things considering... I guess it'll all mean nothing if we fail to stay up, I'll be bricking it from now until the season ends..
  9. my god it would fucking hilarious if he failed his medical

what a fkn tool he is
  11. roffles from nufc.com JJB-elittled: Do I love you? Indeed I don't Newcastle, Arsenal, Tottenham, Villa, Lyon? Just five clubs Charles N'Zogbia apparently won't be playing for, with strong claims on Friday that he's off to Wigan. Yes, Wigan. Let's just remind ourselves of Prince Bluster's recent comments: "After four years at Newcastle, I want to reach a higher level of ambition. I don't think that is possible here." And: "My agents are talking with Tottenham and Aston Villa - I'm waiting to see what will happen. From what they have told me, Arsenal could also be in the frame, but there hasn't been a direct approach from them. "Personally, I have a little preference for the Gunners but, whatever happens, they are three great and ambitious clubs. It's very flattering to see them interested in me." And: "As soon as a big club knocks on the door with a good offer, I don't think they'll prevent me leaving." And: "I am 22, it's an age where I have to be seen, especially with regards to aims that I have targeted for myself. "I want to get into the France team as soon as possible and I feel that at Newcastle, that won't be possible." The JJB may be a Theatre of Dreams for egg-chasers, but as far as the round ball game goes, the home side should be Tumbleweed City - at least as far as attendances go. Even the visit of Liverpool last week didn't test the JJB's 25,135 capacity, with 21,237 in (52,114 at SJP for the equivalent game.) And a grand total of 15,881 turned out when Stoke rolled up in November (47,422 on Tyneside). Big club, mon derriere - and if he fancies having a bit of rough and tumble in training, there's always Titus in the blue corner... PS: There used to be a big club in Wigan - it was called The Casino. Famed for its all-nighters, it was a magnet for insomniacs - does Charlie know it's been knocked down?
  12. Has this been running on any kind of news feed? and if it has, for how long?

  16. Guthrie is 21 and if he anything about him he'll force his way into the team sooner or later Yep, plus this is whats called having a squad/more depth or something similar, we're not used to it. Guthrie has also played with Nolan loads so that'd help both players immensely
  17. Blyth Spartans are said to have registered their interest in want-away Newcastle winger Charles N'Zogbia. SSN
  18. surely pursuing Donadel makes more sense, hes cheaper, still decent and we'd save money too. Then again, we know nowt about whats going on behind the scenes..
  19. Scoring close to 10 goal a season back then, would have been delighted to get a midfielder who was up to that much in the scoring stakes. Done nothing this season. Would be interesting to know why Bolton are allowing him to leave so easily? He's 26, I'm certain he could rekindle the form of 03 to 06. At Newcastle? Unlikely. have faith! bolton are a nothing club, always going nowhere. At least here its more exciting, for good or bad. We have an amazing stadium and training ground, these kind of things can put a spring in your step, plus I'm sure he'll sample some of the bigg market too
