I am sure that they call themselves realists, and telling it like they see it, as if that justifies being a miserable little shit. To state the obvious, none of us know the outcome, so I would rather get some joy out of this and stay cautiously optimistic.

One thing I learned in documentaries is that sometimes seemingly stupid questions actually show a willingness to let go of certain axioms, and can open the doors in surprising and revelatory ways. I wouldn't trust many of these axioms in the fucking paleolithic ethos that many of these English football people adopt.
