Aye, we scored. Yes!
-
Shola on as well.
-
Hope we can fight back to still win this. Even if it's just a friendly.
-
Özil will leave soon and Marin does hardly get 90 minutes, sadly.
-
Have 20 € on us to win today.

Now, after getting Joe Cole, Liverpool can't afford to buy him some shorts, it seems: http://cache2.asset-cache.net/xc/103048343.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF87892102A727B1636DE2E6E7DE2B583C076EFE2D198E827FB0D6185B0D996BBE643175

Really? Wasn't it that he was such a big Villa fan the time he left us for them?

He seems to do well in the transfer market, money is available. Will also depend on Dzeko (will he stay or go?) But I don't think they'll win the Bundesliga in McClaren's first year - more like competing for the CL spots. Will be hard, though, as Leverkusen, Hamburg and Dortmund will all be looking for European football as well. I thought Kjaer was a real coup for them, Friedrich, Cicero and Madzukic all very solid signings. I've noticed he does seem astute in the transfer market, and I wonder if it's having a good entourage around him to do scouting and stuff or whether he is actually making these signings of his own accord. His signings for Twente were all very successful aswell. Anyway I hope he does well, any English success abroad is good. Don't know that tbh. But I could imagine that he works together with manager Dieter Hoeneß (brother or former Bayern manager Uli) to identify and sign the right players. Don't think he does it all on his own as in the Friedrich transfer it seemed like Hoeneß was pulling the strings.

Playing for Schalke isn't that bad actually. He might win the Bundesliga with them next season. I'd be utterly flabbergasted if Bayern didn't retain their title. Kroos & Braafheid to come back in and they're bound to buy some others. Raul is going to get some more CL football under his belt though. Bayern can basically only get beaten by themselves. Problem for them, though they had 13 players in the World Cup who were there until the last day. So I expect Schalke to get a better start (Magath normally does a very hard pre-season). And with Magath you never know - I think it'll be very close at the end.

Raúl has apparently signed a two year (3 mio per year) with Schalke 04.

Either Ashley has changed or we are set to sell some of our best players. Enrique? Would rather be happy without players like Diarra if it meant to sell Enrique.
-
So, with two N-O leagues, which one is the "official" one where the majority on here will be in?
-
As long as he doesn't start sounding like Kinnear it's ok. "N'Zobia... ehm... Insomnia... eh.. Charly"
-
What? Was the whole the out of the house. We're "trying" to sign Flamini? Well, won't happen anyway and I won't start to think that it could happen...
-
It's a bit special I think. Just like the number 7 at Real Madrid or the 7 at Man Utd.
-
Not too happy with those comments tbh. Hope that doesn't mean we will see a Carling Cup team everytime we play Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and so on... Normally, with the way the new shirt look like, I wouldn't buy it myself. But the fact that my current one still has the Coca Cola badges on and the CCC lettering goes on my nerves. So I might still end up buying it but I first have to see it in real.

If Carroll keeps playing for us the next 15 years he'll only need 13 goals per season to end up as our record goalscorer. Andy Carroll, Newcastle United record goalscorer 2025.

Where does this thing stand btw? http://nufc.com/2010-11images/shearer-aotn-statue.jpg

Funny. He might have just misread it, though.
