After yesterday's disastrous day, today I got Müller (captain), Neuer, Lahm and Özil And I benched Messi for Villa.
-
Won, Lost. Together = win.

Posted that before in the Capello thread. Think that's the right thing to do and not the other way around. (like Capello seemed to do)
-
Have some Tour de France bets for today. And also 26€ on Germany to go through. Edit: And 10 € on both Messi and Klose to score anytime
-
Doesn't the Tippeligaen start today/tomorrow? Any predictions, Kaizero?
-
He's rated at £30million by Ajax apparently. I think we've bid £3m. And Alan Smith's slippers. And Alan Smith. Might as well offer on of our keepers as Suarez showed that he can play between the posts as well.
-
Could have something to do with the fact that Taylor wasn't one of our captains last season (If we all forget those 3 minutes against Reading at home after Smith, Nolan and Barton all were subbed)
-
As I've posted in that other thread - I don't think he did that with an intention. It was more of a reflex I think.

I don't think it was his intention to do this. More of a reflex.

Suarez went from zero to hero there imo. If he hadn't "saved" that it would have been over for Uruguay. If the penalty would have been in, he would have been slaughtered by the press I think. So, he saved it, pen wasn't in = hero.

Same but £10. Cmaan. High 5.

15 € on Uruguay to go through (live bet)

The text says that Jonas at the age of 1 year (by learing to walk) collapsed and got a heart-attack. He was paralysed on his left side. He fought against that and as he was 3 years old his docs said he should do sport to avoid any following damage. His parents took him to the Estudiantes Buenos Aires football club and after that he went to Velez Sarsfield (age of 8). With 19 he gave his 1st team debut and scored a goal after being on the pitch for 5 mins. And after that he basically started his footballing career. The rest is quite known that he went to RCD and so on. And it says that he has his "own" Spiderman-Song from the Newcastle fans. Edit: And of course it says that he was studying palaeo-ontology till 2005 just in case he would fail with his football career.

Is that official already?

As long as it'll still be on that supposed weekend I have no problem with that. Will hopefully be at SJP for that one.

Btw our first two games of the season (Man Utd, Villa) are both live on TV and therefore no 3pm kick offs. (source: nufc.com)

Sneijder is not important then? i need my fantasy points Ah, right. That's importand as well.
-
William Hill, Bet365 I know you can do it. But I can't it find at the moment as well. You might have to wait till today's games are over. Or you can find it on the live bets. EDIT: It's available now at Will Hill. Go to "World Cup 2010", scroll down and there it is.

First card bet, 2-1 and my live bet on Holland. Returns about 160€
-
5 € on Holland to go through (live bet)

why the fa would have had to pay a rather large sum of cash to be rid of him and he wasn't going to resign and lose that rather large sum of cash was he I would have thought the 2 weeks are only to give the FA a bit of time to get the right people in place to succeed Capello.
-
Good thing. I'm a bit surprised, allthough.

Who should be our new captain? That's what Hughton has said about it: I personally don't want Smith or Nolan as captain because it would mean that they would start pretty much every match. Don't want Harper either, because he's a keeper. And I'm not too sure about Coloccini as well. I'd might just give it to Barton as he seems like a player who is always talking to others while playing. Problem, of course, he won't be playing that much.
