Don't think we would lose like Wigan did today. Wigan had nothing to play for - Chelsea on the other hand wanted to have a party. The same match during the middle of the season with Chelsea needing points but with Wigan being in a relegation fight and it probably ends 3-0, but not 8-0.

That little England future striker has the same haircut as Rooney. http://cache2.asset-cache.net/xc/98937300.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF878921A343B2C87A49D8F5BA93B93B6B34D27EDE7524BC40B7DC96F911E3043382901E

Thought exactly the same.
-
Yep. I'm quite an optimist.
-
At the moment: 1 Don't think we'll be in that big relegation battle next season. We'll surprise a few (big) teams and get some unexpected draws and wins from them. Add to that our great home form and we'll be fine.

Did not want to be bet this season again but I've got 5 € free from bet 365 4 € on Bayern, Köln/draw, Bochum - Hannover = draw. Returns 60€. And my long-long-long-term bet: 1 € on us to win the Premier League next season. Returns 1000€.

Aye, that's a good argument against me actually. Didn't know that tbh. Shows how much I've followed England during the qualifying matches... Still, regardless of that fact you mentioned, I think Parker deserved to be in that squad.
-
Would be surprised to see Parker not going to the World Cup tbh. I've always rated him very highly as a player - but still I think his current form should be enough to get him a place in the squad. ??
-
surely we will. I would hope that at some stage next season he would replace Harper as he started to make mistakes recently. But saying that - I know what happened with Michael Rensing of Bayern Munich who always wanted to replace Kahn in the goal and after Kahn retired and Rensing got the chance he played poorly. I hope it won't be the same with Krul.

http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20100729/krul-signs-new-united-contract_2240137_2104891 Don't know if that was posted anywhere else - but I think that's some great news really. If he wants to stay we have to keep him. Give him a new contract. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/nufc/newcastle-united-news/2010/05/07/keeper-tim-krul-hoping-for-new-nufc-deal-72703-26397200/

Bouma will be released by Aston Villa this summer. Is he any good? He can play LB and CB, can't he? Never really seen him play...

Rooney. Chelsea still win games without Drogba while ManUtd are addited to Rooney. Rooney might has not as many assists as Drogba has but his workrate makes up for that again. His work rate is the biggest difference between those two imo. Rooney is all over the pitch sometimes.

Article from co.uk where some of the players will go to in their holidays. Interesting that our right sided combo Routledge and Simpson will do their trips together. Made me a bit laugh when I read that Ryan Taylor will go to Vegas playing poker - he just has the ideal poker face. http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20100506/tyneside-to-stateside-toon-stars-summer-plans_2240137_2044974

Last home game of last season.

Isn't he Barton's agent? If yes, then he's Pancrate's agent as well. So he probably has been at the training ground because of Pancrate. Pancrate has gone, contract expired last Sunday and is now back in Paris. Didn't know it expired last Sunday, thought it was today. Then it probably has nothing with Pancrate to do. fucking hell it's yoda It's WHAT?

Sounds class. Do tell more. Me and a mate are trying to combine travelling with football to a reasonable price. Went to Milano and watched Inter - Caligari (three nights in four star hotel, flight and match ticket totalling to £120 per person), Spurs - Blackburn (he's a Spurs fan and we stayed at my sisters place so we only spent around £90 on flights and match ticket) and now Eintracht - Hoffenheim (four star hotel for four nights, flights and match ticket £85). Been to a game in Sweden (where we live) as well and will try and head to Denmark this month. June and july will get tough to catch games due to WC, so we'll probably have to try and squeeze in a couple of countries in the same month later on, like Portugal/Spain combo or something... You have time and money for going to so many matches/countries? Do you work anything or are you just finding the money lying on the street? We're students and at least I work extra on the weekends. I've basically given up boozing in Sweden because I just can't deal with the hang overs any more (I sound a lot older than I am at this point)! I usually spend £50 or more per night when on the piss so not doing that every week is an easy £200 saved. And since I'm not hung over on saturdays and sundays I can work a little bit extra in a grocery store which really put me in the black. And my grades are up as well so I'm well pleased... And don't get me wrong, I still do drink and socialise when I'm home and everything, just changed priorities for this year to fund this. Edit: Total spend for these three trips and the game in Sweden is around £1100 which I reckon is a bargain. Alright, no money on the streets then Sounds like a bargain indeed btw. Well done.

But how do you have that much time of flying around the world over the year while working?

Hamit plays for Bayern as already said. He will leave them (contract running out and he hardly gets a game) but will - as things stand - go (back) to Schalke.
-
Wouldn't by Halil tbh. 2 goals and 2 assist this season doesn't really speak for him, does it? Would not be better than any of our current strikers (probably better than Best).

I don't want Ashley to sell either. But what if some mega rich arab owner came in with Mourinho as manager...
-
Club statement is good but only if it's not about guys like Kinnear or even Dowie to return. And it should not be that Ashley wants to sell the club again.
