As I've posted before, one of my main targets would still be Paulo Guerrero of Hamburg. Isn't a regular starter anymore because of RvN and is out of favour with the fans because of that bottle he threw at a fan's head. Is a free agent as well as he has not signed a contract yet.

I've posted 56 before. Quite optimistic but not out of reach imo considering our great home form which I hope will last for a time in the Premier League. Don't even know if those stats are correct but seeing that Armin Veh (after buying Martins) not played him after a few weeks and that Lorentz Günther Köstner did not really play him at all proves for me that he isn't good enough to be in the starting XI. Dzeko is certainly a great player and would keep him out regardles of Martins performances but Grafite has been poor for the majority of that season and sometimes looked worse than Ameobi in the Premier League.

Hm... german media were reporting that Wolfsburg already agreed a deal with Gerard Houllier. EDIT: Just checked it again: Houllier deal fell through and now there are indeed strong claims that McClaren will take over there.

As I've said before, I've really enjoyed that season. But I'm still really looking forward to us being part of the - what is said to be the strongest league in the world - Premier League again. Also looking forward to finding us at the BBC or sky homepage under "Premier League" again and not under "Championship"

Great that the World Cup is this year. Last year, after relegation, I couldn't have enjoyed the World Cup as much as I will this season

You did watch Villa vs. us at the end of last season, though, didn't you? from behind the couch, but here where the opposition are the ones who would stay up if you don't do what you need to? Well, don't really know what's better tbh. To play a side that is in the same problems you are or to play a Villa side playing for nothing but still so much better than your side? I would prefer first.
