  1. We should also look a lot of more into the Bundesliga. The wages their are much lower than standard premiership wages and so we could try and get some players from their.
  2. Can see my ManU bet to win the title and to qualify for the next round in the CL failing now. Despite this: Great news for England for the World Cup. I've always prediced he would get an injury before the World Cup. Good that it's now and not a week before the great kick off.
  3. Think almost our whole squad is premiership standard. Of course we went down with some of those players but imo we went down because of one accident after the other. Keegan resigning... Kinnear... Kinnear getting ill... getting Shearer instead of a proven manger... and so on. Under normal circumstances with that squad from 08/09 we would have never ever gone down imo.
  4. If you're able to read German than go to http://transfermarkt.de/de/spieler/vertragsende/basics.html you can switch the leagues and will see all the players who will be out of contract after the season...
  5. I hope we won't sign Bellamy (I don't think we would get him anyway). As good as he is as a footballer - we already have players like him (in Barton, Taylor/Carroll). Would rather sign some younger players who are more hungry to play for such a club like we are.
  6. Great to hear about Hughton. I think but much more hope Enrique is right in his last sentence there.
  7. Klose was shit recently and all season. Has only scored 2 goals in the Bundesliga iirc. Ah right. I still live in a world of "HE ALWAYS SCORES AT THE WORLD CUP YOU KNOW!?" You are right to live in that world. You could almost say "he always scores for Germany!"
  8. Klose was shit recently and all season. Has only scored 2 goals in the Bundesliga iirc.
  9. I've already thought about buying him. Works for more than 90 mins and scores important goals. Won't happen, though, as he's already 30 years old.
  10. This and: 7 € on ManU to win 15 € on Rooney to score anytime Again making a plus today. Only a small one (about 15€), though.
  11. Manchester United for a start. Really? Well they don't play 4-4-2 for a start (but i did say "any formation tbh"). How many times have Nani and Valencia started together because Park isn't an out and out winger and starts a lot of games. I think you'd be surprised how many times both Valencia and Nani have started together. Bayern always start both Robben and Riberý on the wings. (if both fit, which isn't very often.)
  12. It's not hard, didn't Jonas rape him in both games last season?, and whoever they had infront of him? Have you just made that up? He didn't play in either game. Meh, all I remember was Jonas taking Man Utd's wing apart in the first game of the season, I wasn't sure if Nevile played in it or not, and I know (from what I heard) was that Jonas did pretty well in the home game aswell, though I didn't see that game. Neville didn't play in any of those games. Was an unused sub in the first one and wasn't even in the squad for the second one at SJP.

  14. Think it looks horrible tbh. Not like a football stadium but more like a rubber boat. Love the look of a classic football stadium like SJP much much more.
  15. Really? I couldn't bring myself to back any of the big 4 to go through. Everything about them makes me sick. Actually Arsenal are an exception, but Man U, nah no thanks. The point is that Man U should go through because Bayern absolutely not deserve to be in the CL quarter finals - let alone the semi finals. They should have gone out in the group stages or at least against Florenz. The decisive goal scored by Klose in Munich was a good metre offside. The other teams I like Inter to go through because of Mourinho and Arsenal because they're English and because I hate Barca. Don't have any favourites in Lyon - Bordeaux.
  16. Monday at home. Also because this will be live on sky.
  17. Nice one Jonas Good to see Jose is still alive
  18. Don't want such a heartbeat betting night like yesterday so I decided to do some low money bets. 5,60 € on Lyon (draw no bet)/Barnsley (draw no bet) 3,00 € on Lyon/Crystal Palace (draw no bet) Will still do some betting later on in the Bayern - ManU game. Wating for confirmation that Robben is out.
  19. You don't have to think only about Kinnear in that case. Also Keegan wanted Jose out. Enrique said something along the lines of "If Keegan had been still here I maybe would have been gone" or something like that.
  20. He is managing Bayern. And after his he probably will end up as the new head coach of the German national team. A Dutchman managing Germany? Will never happen. About as likely as Ferguson managing England. If Löw quits Germany after the World Cup (which is, imo very likely to happen) than I'm going to put my money on Van Gaal. As I'v said - he already said he would be interested. And I don't think it's that unlikely. you clearly don't know your history I know it. I know it very well. But it has changed. I know from many people that they would welcome Van Gaal as national coach. Also the media hasn't said anything against it. Still, it is unlikely to happen because he won't be allowed to leave Bayern. But if he was allowed to he would be a realistic candidate. What about Felix Magath? Very underated coach outside Germany at least. Did very well at Bayern, Wolfsburg of course and his current team Schalke are well in the title hunt. Felix "Meistermacher" Magath would and should never come here. He would have destroyed our whole team morale in 3 days pre-season. Players like Nolan would be dropped to the reserves. His training is said to be very hard (training with medicine balls and so on). The way his teams plays is awful. (Like Bolton under Sam Allardyce or now Stoke = sitting back and waiting for a late 1-0 winner) He might be successfull but I would never like to have him here. Hughton for long term I was talking about Magath for the German national team not us man Oh, sorry. For them obviously he would be a very good shout actually. Don't know if he would want to do it, though. Probably in 10 years or so as his last "big job".

  22. What does he say? For all those who haven't got SSN.. Was talking about Man City, not us. ah ok, thanks.
  23. Er... he did bring Barton on. I noticed this as well some of the passing once Barton was on was shocking & just shows up all those people who thought the football we play would improve on Bartons return. Anyone who missed Barton when he came & how the game changed the game is going to be shown again on SKY at 01:45am. The game did change once Barton came on? He came on with about 60 seconds still to play man.
