"footballers who dont deserve reputations as good footballers"... what about Alan Smith?!?

don't know if already posted... a new official statemant: Official NUFC Statement: September 6 NUFC wished, at all times, to keep any dispute that it had with Kevin Keegan private. It is therefore disappointing that information has reached the media through unnamed sources and a briefing has been given by the League Managers Association that could give rise to a misleading impression amongst the Club's fans. Newcastle United have no desire to engage in a war of words but inaccurate reporting of factual matters and inaccurate allegations have to be corrected. Article continues>> It is a fact that Kevin Keegan, on appointment on 16th January 2008, agreed to report to a Director of Football and to the Board. It is a fact that Kevin Keegan worked within that structure from 16th January 2008 until his resignation. It is a fact that Kevin Keegan, as manager, had specific duties in that he was responsible for the training, coaching, selection and motivation of the Team. It is a fact that Kevin Keegan was allowed to manage his specific duties without any interference from any Board member. It is a fact that Kevin Keegan agreed only to deal with the media in relation to Club matters relating to the Team and not to communicate with the media in relation to the acquisition or disposal of players. It is a fact that NUFC is a business and operates, like all businesses, with financial constraints. It is a fact that NUFC's financial constraints inform its transfer dealings. The Board of NUFC have responsibility to ensure that the club is able to meet its commitments which include the wages and the transfer fees for players. The structure at NUFC is clear, and has been clear from 16th January 2008. http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10278~1386220,00.html

Schweinsteiger actually coming here is actually the least believable turd in that steaming manure pile. aye, he was a key player under Klinsmann when he was German coach so I can`t imagine him wanting to sell him now that he`s Bayern Munich coach yea true... but Klinsmann doesn't buy or sell any player! He is only a couch (like it is the case at almost every other Bundesliga Club) Uli Hoeneß does the transfers What a great idea ! Wonder if it would ever work at Newcastle P.S. Like your double S hey, what do you mean with "double S" this ß? Yeah. if people don't know about umlauts and things they'll be saying "who the hell is Uli Hoeneb". prost lol, poor people but in future I'll write ss instead of ß so everyone will understand it.

Schweinsteiger actually coming here is actually the least believable turd in that steaming manure pile. Someone in Germany told me this was being talked about last week. I've never heard about Schweinsteiger comming to us or leaving Bayern and I also live in Germany, quite near to Munich.

what about Sven Goran Eriksson? Did a good job at City imo and with him there would be a chance of Michael Owen to stay...
-
is this official already? wasn't here the last hour...

From .Com... Update: Messiah 1 Wise man 0? Speculation was rife on Wednesday evening that one of the major obstacles to Kevin Keegan remaining in charge of Newcastle United could soon be removed - with the departure of Dennis Wise from the club. As soon as any confirmation - or denial - of this so-far unsubstantiated rumour is forthcoming we'll update the site with it. would be absolutely fantastic imo!

I expect a fight for a UEFA-CUP spot and also a good place in the FA-CUP.
-
correct especially now, harper has had 2 excellent seasons, while shay has had 2 nightmare 1's Given had some excellent seasons as well! Don't forget that. Maybe he wasn't that good last season
-
Great to hear that finally! Now I think he will stay for the next years.
-
Why would Podolski want to go to Stuttgart when his stock is quite clearly on the rise given the fact he has scored three goals so far in the European Championships? On top of that he is apparently highly rated by Klinsmann which should see him feature more often at Bayern. Yes I know but there are lots of rumours that see the Podolski/Gomez swap as already done. And there are other rumours that see Podolski going to Juventus for example. But almost nobody sais he will stay at Munich!
-
I hope the new Website will look better and will be a bit faster with the breaking news than the old one.
-
Gomez will go to Bayern Munich imo for 35 MIO € or a swap with Podolski + some Million...
-
In Germany they aren't the top-favourites anymore! (Since the defeat against Croatia) For the german media Portugal, Spain or Netherlands or so are the new top-favourites.
-
me too! but tbh great game by Spain! Very good football imo.
-
France was absolutely s***. Romania not even better... but they are just Romania.
-
It will get worse if Germany lose against Polen...
-
Sunderland at home would be perfect imo i think it will be Everton or Villa, don't know why...
-
Drogba will go to Inter... Lampard not. So for me Inter is a favorite for winning the Champions League next season.
-
NO!

Switzerland really? A one man attack of Alexander Frei coupled with a back four headlined by Phillippe Senderos doesn't seem particularly frightening to me. They've got some decent players and are tactically very sound but to me they're just not good enough. Good point about Russia though. Never bet against a Guus Hiddink team. The Euro is in Austria/Switzerland, so I think they can play better than normaly... think about Japan in 2002. Almost nobody said before that they would go through the group stage...
-
My favorites are Switzerland and Porugal. I also think Russia will go into the the semifinals at least. I don't want Germany to win and I don't think they will win. Their squad this year is too young and unproved. Some key players are missing too. (Bernd Schneider is missing and was always one of their best players)
