oh well then, case closed then i suppose they did have a lot of success the last time they went trying to hawk themselves round the middle east
-
what's the implication of that madras, sorry i've got morning booze fog here like
-
We should get more than that now, Villa signed one in the summer for £8 million apparently. look who we've got doing our negotiating though, a man who tries to sell the naming rights the ground by publicly stating the amount they want for it (more than arsenal get incidentally i believe), and who admits he's got one month to get a shirt sponsor in the same breath these aren't tactics that are likely to massively increase our income streams are they? company: "hi we'd like to sponsor newcastle's shirts please" dekka: "5m a year" company: "have a good day sir, here's our number so you can call us back when you get closer to your own deadline you fucking imbecile"
-
so shirt sponsorship is worth around 2.5m a season then, guess that'll be another 2.5m mike ashley will have to "subsidise" the club per year then, or simply let a player go off the books and not replace him thus saving the amount in wages, i.e. smith this summer
-
QFT shirt sponsors is a different matter imo, be fucking mental to turn down an existing revenue stream
-
so what, let it pass then?

As a 'response' I'd just like to see someone come up with a new song that gets sung from start to finish in every game. I'm hopeless at shit like this but something about St. James' always being our home and supporting the team, bypass the FCB out shit to not affect the players but also make it clear the name change will not be accepted. Ever.

didn't llamblias say last week the club makes nothing from retail, or something to that effect? that being the case why would they give a f*** if the fans stop buying shirts? Literally nothing? I just find it hard to believe they make nothing from shirt sales. But I stand corrected. They are playing the poverty line at the moment though. Last month, it was all about how well we were doing financially. They change their story to suit whatever agenda they are trying to push at the time. could be both. Obviously putting SD on the shirts would still put then in the negative as the £Xm per year we were getting from NR is no longer on the books, so in effect the club would be paying for their own shirt sponsor if that's who it ends up being. Retail profits or non aside.

you really even wonder about that?

Of course it's taking out, I take money out of my bank account on a daily basis. I put it in and I take it out. Suppose you loaned some of your money to a company. If the company paid some of it back (with no interest) do you consider that you have taken money out of that company? I can't see that you have since all you have done is get a repayment of what you loaned in the first place. On the other hand if you charged 6% interest on the loan then you have taken money out because you did not put the interest into the company in the first place. The company has had to somehow earn the interest in order to be able to pay it to you. If I loaned a company money and they re-paid it of course I'd consider that I'd taken money out of that company. I understand that Ashley has saved us money by not charging interest, he's still taken at least £6 million out, even if it is the money that he put in. people have lost the f***ing plot here like he hasn't lost the plot, he's just prepared to be very pedantic in order to try and be seen to right. must be longing for those NE5 days again 'cause the above is absolute nonsense

'course it fucking exists, fuck them

they took the SJP down yet like?
-
another annoying thing about this after more thought is that surely they'd have far more success with the whole concept if they were selling the advertising spots they've started creating all over the ground to one company, sell that as a oner and make sure it's attractive by placing everything in view of the cameras through some analysis...not aware of any other club in england covering its stadium in adverts like these arseholes have done at sjp so it'd potentially be 'a first' as well, plus people would fucking love a decent brand to replace that gaudy shit ground sponsors if you like, similar to shirt sponsors, then in literature and whatever else you could just refer to the ground as st. james' park sponsored by xxxxxx as with everything these fuckwits do it just didn't have to be this shit
-
sure this has been mentioned but does anyone know the crack with the olympics? he has to take the advertising down right, wwhat about the name of the stadium?
-
We could rape his daughter? http://www.facebook.com/wendy.llambias?sk=wall#!/amy.llambias?sk=photos Dude... that is harsh. You're crossing the line here tbh. jesus

concur with that of course, just don't think the season is over either by any stretch of the imagination
-
imo the manager and players created the positivity this season, not the other way around - lots of people were expecting doom & gloom, myself included, but pardew got them out there with the attitude of proving everyone wrong and now the fans are really behind what's happening on the pitch yes, if after this the atmosphere at games turns sour i'm sure it will have an effect, but to say the positivity has "now gone" is a few steps too far for me

My bullshit. Show me anything I have posted that isn't a solid fact. what you're on about is fucking pointless dude, who gives a shit about German clubs? we're being sold down the river one piece at a time by an absolute cunt of a man, trawling wikipedia to find examples of other poor fuckers who've had to endure that doesn't make it ok you're entitled to your opinion, i just find that it's focused in on one small facet of this whole thing when the key issues for me are (a) the fucking appalling timing and (b) the fact we're not actually getting any money for this in contrast to the other clubs you mentioned the generation thing is being far too easily ignored by you either 'cause you don't understand it or you don't care - something like that shouldn't be given away for FREE, it just shouldn't

jesus christ, 3rd in the fucking league

can someone give sydneycove a fucking job or summik? this issue has been massively derailed by his bullshit
